I preordered cookies for delivery at 6pm. My order arrived 20 minutes later than expected and were cold and hard as bricks. I probably won’t order delivery again, but every time I’ve tried to visit the location in person during their posted operating hours, they’ve been closed.
I went to Insomnia Cookies on Broad Ripple Ave tonight around 10. The cashier didn’t respond to our greeting or even ask us what we wanted. She turned around when we mentioned it was our first time there. She only responded when I mentioned fixing her attitude. She may have been going thru a rough time but we were getting the bad end of it. Cookies were kinda dry. Not going back or recommending.
Very disappoint with first time order. We had to carefully separate the mini cookies, form them and let cool properly before making the cookie tower for a 6th bday. With a little ingenuity we made the cookie tower with other choc chip cookies. Took more work than expected because of the melted cookie mound we received.
The cookies are DELICIOUS but the customer service is HORRIBLE at this particular store. I ordered a 50 pack for my daughter's high school graduation party two weeks in advance. Pick up was scheduled for Friday evening at 7pm. My sister went to pickup the order and they said the order was not for pickup until Sat at 1pm. No big deal, the party was the following day at 2pm so not a problem. My mother went to pick up the cookies at 1:30p and the door was locked and the lights were out. She knocked and waited for over 15mins but no one ever came to the door. I called the number available and it went to the customer service center. The customer service representative made several attempts to contact the store and could not reach anyone. By this time my daughter's party had started and my mother had to leave. The representative said she would contact upper management to get the store open. My son went back later and picked up the order. He arrived back to the party and the order was WRONG! I contacted customer service the following day and they issued a full refund. I went to the store later that day because my daughter REALLY wanted the snickerdoddle cookies. (the things we do for our kids) I entered the store and noticed 2 employees laughing and playing in the back of the store. It took them 5 minutes to even notice I was there. After picking up my order, I asked if there was a manager available. The young lady stated they did not have a store manager. She stated she was the closet thing to management as she was the shift team leader. I explained what had happened with my previous order. She got an attitude with me and made excuses as to why the order was delayed and wrong. She never apologized or took ownership. Great product but this store NEEDS leadership!
Best best best cookies ever!!I tried double chocolate chunk cookie wich with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious.They are relatively inexpensive, and very tasty! Great place for cookie lovers.
Cookies are amazing. Terrible service though! Went today to get some and they were closed for some reason. I asked the lady standing on the other side of the glass when they’d reopen, to see if I had time to wait. She just stared at me like I couldn’t see her…. Again great cookies but weird employees!
Good cookies but don't expect to receive them. Waited 2 hours to get a box of 6 cookies, never received them. Couldn't get in contact with anyone at Insomia Cookies. I understand it was 11:30 at night but I thought it would not matter for this place because of its namesake.
Some of the best cookies in all of Indy and would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet treat in the late night. Highly recommended and would definitely deserve it's five star rating.
This was my first visit and I was glad I came. I got the peanut butter cup cookie and I was blown away. I forget what she got but she said it was good too. A must visit whenever I'm near broad ripple.
I wanted to place 15 orders as gifts but they would only deliver to one of the addresses. The one employee that I ordered for is vegan. They have a nice selection of vegan cookies and he enjoyed them.Shipping instead of delivering doubles the cost of the cookies and then adds another $10. $50 for 12 cookies is absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to try something different but I guess I will have to stick with Cheryl's.
