Front Desk Service was top tier, all thanks to DJ! He was beyond knowledgeable when we asked for suggestions on places to dine and nightlife. He made everything easy, to say the least. The ambiance of this Marriott location is both warm and upscale. Everything was clean, neat with a pleasant fragrance throughout! Whenever we come to Indianapolis, this is certainly our top choice for lodging.
Peter and Jeff at Connor’s Restaurant + Bar we’re phenomenal! We visited town fromColorado and they served us great drinks multiple times, but Peter was exceptional. We wanted to bring breakfast burritos to our Indy team, and had trouble finding spots that would be open on time or who would accept orders. Last minute we asked Peter to accommodate a large order of individually wrapped breakfast burritos, he DELIVERED AND THEY WERE PHENOMENAL. Highly this spot for the service and menu offered.
The staff at this hotel are sooo nice. My car battery died while we were staying there and the front desk staff called the other location and found someone to help jump my car. They didn't have to do that but I appreciate it so very much. The rooms are super clean as well.
It’s a very nice and clean hotel; however I was disappointed with how fancy it supposedly was. It is indeed fancy and modern, but they don’t have fridges in the rooms and there’s only one microwave in the whole building and it’s hard to find. The gym also has only one leg machine and no free bar. Lastly, there’s a food place there called the Loaf + Vine, and I purchased chicken from there just to find mold.
The fact you have to pay $35 just to park is ridiculous because their lot is full. That was the first annoyance. The lady at the front desk (younger and dark hair) was just plain rude. Did not greet us or even crack a smile. Clearly did not want to be there. The final straw is at 6 am when I needed to take a shower, it was ice cold. Freezing. It never turned hot. Try washing your hair in freezing water first thing in the morning. My husband took a cold shower next. Would never stay here again.
I was in town for 3 days for a work conference and had an amazing experience from the start! As soon as I pulled in the valet, Sergio (I believe was his name), was super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Once I was inside and checking in, I talked with Aaron Huber and he was extremely kind and helpful! He was extremely genuine and I loved our conversation! I continued to run into him while I was there and he went above and beyond with everything! His service and demeanor are the standards by which Hospitality should be held at! Amazing experience and I look forward to my next stay at the Marriott!Thank you!
The rooms were very clean and the staff was very knowledgeable. Made my last minute trip to Indy well worth it! I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.
They Charged us $30 to park even though we booked a room NO REFUND!!!!!The First room had NO HEAT!!!! They Switched us to another room told us the view was great (A Pond outside) Even though we wanted a Balcony. The Water Pressure in the second room was so low ,the toilet was hard to flush...Definitley Not A Good ExperienceWe were told A Hot Breskfast would be provided...Biscuits and Gravy and Cereal and Milk I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
Marriott are always good hotels. The rooms are nice. But there is NO ROOM SERVICE here this weekend. I understand we are in a pandemic, but even more the reason to have room service. The restaurant in the hotel - Conners - is struggling to serve people. And there is a cheer competition here this weekend and people need food and don't have a lot of time. This was a pretty epic failure by Marriott to serve its guests. They have a grab n go place but it's $6 for a 12 oz bottle of juice!!! And they close early in the evening. I didn't even check the price of the wine they sell there - I can only imagine...
I actually really enjoyed my stay/experience at this hotel. I booked this hotel at the last minute (the night before/day of). I stayed at this hotel because I was attending an event downtown. One of the perks of this hotel was its connection to other downtown hotels and buildings; I didn’t have to walk outside in the freezing cold to my event.I know you all are wondering why I didn’t give my stay five stars and here’s why:1. Valet parking and self-parking were way too expensive, for me (ranging from ~$25-$52 per day).2. The water in the room sink/shower was not hot3. Marriott doesn’t allow you to gain points if you book via a third party (I found this out after my stay, I was not aware of this prior to)4. Room service is still closed due to the pandemicImprovements in the above areas would have tipped me over the edge for five stars, but I would still recommend this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel for both professional and personal reasons and have enjoyed both experiences.
