Lady is nice upfront but my sushi was made in less then 5 minutes and then the chef went out back to cut the yard I don’t know how sanitary that is but more so unprofessional. Sushi looked just sloppy and equally tasted nasty

This place is a great example of hidden jewel. We frequently visited this place before the pandemic. Yesterday was the first time we returned and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was as authentic and good as we remembered. The Shrimp Tendon was delicious as well as the Udon, Donburi and the sushi. Highly recommended!

Don't let the looks fool you, this is by far the best sushi/ramen in town and is also the cheapest. I found this place 20 years ago taking a friend to work and have been coming here weekly ever since. I've tried a lot of ramen and sushi in a lot of cities and this is the best I've found period, this couple knows their stuff.

The service was great! The sake was perfect and well priced. The sushi was really good. I thought my squid appetizer was not as hot as I would have wanted and my noodles were over cooked. I would go here again however to give them another chance.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Can't wait to take my kid(19yrs) with me tonight!! Great food cheap price! Right up my alley ?

I always try to find a restaurant that It's more homemade, made from scratch so to speak, comma and this is the place it is very good, it's probably the best ramen place in the city I highly recommend it.

Great sushi. I had Chicago bowl. Fresh tasting. Miss soup was very flavorful. Tempura was hot and crispy. Very nice older couple running the place.

My daughter had been begging for sushi and this was the closest restaurant to us at the moment. I’m so glad we came. Wonderful service, excellent food. I can’t wait to bring my friends here to sample it!

I was originally going to go to another place to eat but saw that this place was just down the road from me. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the food. I got the Yaki Udon and Gyoza with Miso Soup. The Yaki Udon was tasty and not overly spiced. They do give you spices to add to taste if needed. The Gyoza tasted phenomenal. The pan used must have been pre seasoned and transferred the flavor. Miss soup, while not having mushrooms, had seaweed and I preferred that over the mushrooms. Overall a great lunch. The building itself is older and needs repair but until it falls over I recommend going in and trying it out.

I can echo this experience too - Thanks guys! This place was absolutely amazing! Don’t let outer look fool you. Inside was a cozy place with very kind staff, and you could smell the food as soon as you walked in the door. The food was delicious! I am a big fan of sushi and have tried out many different places. This one was by far the best I’ve ever had. The taste was amazing and it was as fresh as if you had gotten it right on the coast. I highly recommend checking this place out!
