Great place! The food and service was phenomenal! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience at Hoagies & Hops. Kristina the owner recommended a couple of menu items, and if she says it's good...IT IS GOOD! Everything about this Philly screams east coast. Delicious, perfectly cooked and tender meat, on an authentic hoagie roll. Not just the Philly, everything was fresh and phenomenal. 11/10 would definitely recommend.

Great place for ex Philly people to get a cheesesteak and hoagie

Boy did the Internet do a good job of tricking me. Photos all look amazing, I mean absolutely delicious. I made up my mind, we're going to try Hoagies and Hops TODAY! Made the 40 drive, with my family, plenty of people sitting outside eating, others pouring out the door upon our arrival, good sign? Should have been. Fast-forward to ordering. The idea was that my daughter and I were going to share a Philly but after seeing the small and regular bread on display, I wasn't sure sure regular was going to cut it but I also know $24 for a whole wasn't an option, sheesh. We ordered Philly Hoagie and the Hog Island Italian but regular in size with an order of cheese fries. The cheese fries were good, thank goodness because the Philly (1) had more lettuce onions etc than meat which tells me next time just get the Philly, they'll have no choice but to give you more meat. As you notice on the photo, you can't tell which is the Philly and which is the Italian. The meat has no seasoning, even a little salt would have helped in my opinion, the bread was soft and lovely. I had to dunk in the ketchup and cheese on the fries to enjoy it. The Italian was dry as well, no mayo? I know it was too have an oil of some sort but not sure if it was on there either. Oh well, guess i can say I tried them. No revisit need.

So good! Had cheesesteak, crinkle fries and a beer

Coming from the East Coast! Yummy! & I even got some scrapple to take home!

Incredible! I made this place my last meal before jaw surgery and it did not disappoint. Easily the best cheese steaks in Indiana. One of the rare places that actually does whiz wit. Great beer too!

I’ve been wanting to try H&H for awhile.I gathered the troops mid weekday and went to see first hand the hype. The staff wasn’t very pleasant as I stepped up to the counter. As a first timer, the boy at the register had no personality and wasn’t very friendly. We had to find someone to pour some hops for us after finding a seat.Seasoning was lacking on my original Philly with onions and provolone. The roll was the best part of the sandwich as it lacked ingredients. One of the boys went big with double steak, onions and whiz.Three sandwiches and a basket of fries for $60 is steep. This was not including the hops which was over $30 for four beers. These prices do not include tips for counter boy with the pony tail or computer guy bartender.I would suggest after the cook makes your sandwich, have him hit it with S&P before wrapping it up.I might return someday but not real soon.

As a homesick Philadelphian, I couldn't be more excited than when I found out about this jawn last night, and had to make an excuse to come out here this afternoon. I was immediately transported back home walking in (these guys sell Herrs!) and the kid behind the counter understood what a Wiz Wit was. The wife and I both got steaks and shared a basket of fries, everything was terrific. My only hangup was the wait time. I don't know if the kitchen was understaffed or undertrained, but the service time would not be tolerated in Center City. That said, this is a great slice of home, and being attached to a pretty decent brewery helps immensely. 100% chance I visit again. Go Birds!!!

As a Philadelphia-area transplant in the late-'90s, it's been wonderful to have Hoagies & Hops in the Indy area. I have eaten there on a couple of occasions. The food is fantastic and every bit "Philly" as it should be. I have had both a regular cheesesteak and a chicken cheesesteak and I, definitely, recommend either. The restaurant is decked out in Philadelphia sports decor and it's fun to see somewhere local with my team's logos on the wall. The staff is friendly and the customer service is wonderful (maybe, the only thing not Philly-like!).Check this place out for the ambiance and good food.
