The burger was amazing. I also got the shrimp cocktail. I loved it but there was so much horseradish. I’m not from Indy so I was very surprised. Glad I enjoy horseradish since the shrimp was covered in it. I’m giving 3 stars because I felt rushed by the waitress almost the whole time I was there. The minute I sat down she wanted me to get an order in. I had about 3 hours to kill before my flight so I was not in a hurry. She kept asking so I ordered the shrimp cocktail. She brought my check within a few minutes of dropping my appetizer off even though I never said I was ready and fully intended to take my time and then get a burger. After she dropped it off she pretty much ignored me until I flagged her down to place the order. It was annoying but the food was great.
As a frequent traveler, I’ve eaten many meals in airports, and Harry’s and Izzy’s at Indianapolis airport is by far one of the best that you can experience. Great wines and excellent service.
Tony and the manager on staff made my experience to ind more than satisfactory. This location was like i was at the location downtown. The food was above and beyond and the service was 10/10. Its clear IND has the top notch airport for many reasons. Keep it up staff.
The food was great.We started off with the shrimp cocktail. Wow was that the most unique cocktail sauce ever!! Quite spicy, and it hits right in your nose lol. But it's amazingly good!I had the Root Beer Chicken Bacon sandwich. Delicious!!We had 2 glasses of red wine, and the smoothest cheesecake ever!I gave this 4 and not 5 stars because we went through our entire meal not knowing that thus location (IND International airport) didn't take gift cards. We had a $100 card from Christmas, so that was an unexpected cost. I wish it had been posted or told to us before.
Ordered filet sliders got hamburger sliders. Blonde bartender is rude to airline employees. Got charged $80 and the manager wouldn't fix my order.
I came to this place as I was leaving Indy to go back home. I ordered the burger and fries. I ordered a medium Burger it came out more on the rare side which is totally fine but hopefully you're not picky. The fries are well seasoned maybe almost to seasoned.This is inside the airport so prepare to pay a lot more than you would at their downtown location. A couple of drawbacks, they are severely understaffed probably because they refuse to pay their staff of living wage so they can't hire anybody. Between the two waitresses I asked for water four times and ended up having to wait almost a half hour for water. If you are going to have a busy airport location make sure you are well staffed to reduce the wait times for something so simple.
Menu is much less due to Covid but what the do have is good. I recommend the Izzy plate with filter sliders and of course the shrimp cocktail is always a winner! Tanita is a great bartender!
The pizza taste frozen, with good ingredients. Their fryer was down as we wanted to order a 17.00 burger with fries , we could substitute a soup for 2 dollars more if we wanted ??How’s about just take 6.00 off the price of the burger, ( the price of your fries ) nope but was offered 10% ( 1.70 ) ???? REALLY? Won’t be back for a while....
Sat down at bar inside air port there were 2 bartender's & a manager in & out behind very small bar. Was asked by bartender Aaron for drink got a bud light. I scanned the barcode reader to see menu decided I was going to order a pizza then sat while they served & fed literally every other person at the bar. Until my money was on counter I was never acknowledged again. I still tipped 3 dollars for my $9.50 16oz beer but will never in my life stop here & waste my time. Horrible service
I was absolutely floored by this location. An actually great restaurant in an airport! Service was excellent, food was excellent, and while expensive, wasn’t actually more expensive than it would have been at a regular location. Had the shrimp cocktail/slider combo which was absolutely divine. Beware the shrimp cocktail is SERIOUSLY heavy on the horseradish and spice.
