This may be the worst Mexican food experience I have ever had. We arrived at 7 pm on Cinco de Mayo. We had an hour wait for a table. Totally expected and not at all part of the problem. The hostess seated us and gave us menus. We then sat for over 30 minutes before a server came to our table. We had young children in our party and by this time they needed food desperately. They had already demolished all the chips placed at our table. I will add here that the chips were the worst I have ever tasted. Worse than a bag of Tostitos. When the server finally arrived (after watching her spend large amounts of time at neighboring tables) she refused to take food orders. Only drinks. We then waited another 20 minutes before she returned to take food orders. We asked for more chips which were brought but no salsa was brought. When the server brought the chips I swear I heard her call my sister a puta. I was shocked and didn’t know what to do. When our food arrived there was food missing- the youngest child’s food and half of my meal. Tortillas were not served to the 4 people who ordered fajitas. By the time those were brought half the fajita meal had been eaten. The server refused to walk down to the end of the table where I was so to call her attention to my missing food I had to stand up and say, “Ma’am!” To her back as she tried to walk away. Upon returning with the rest of my food she called me a puta. Again I was stunned. I know I should have reported her to a manager but I was so angry and stunned I didn’t. As for the food - tasteless, bland, basically awful. Will not return.
We were on the East side and needed to stop for lunch. We tried stopping at a couple of places before ending up at Guadalajara Grill. We loved the decor! It was very bright and cheery! The music wasn't too loud, but was there to enjoy! The staff was amazingly kind and they seemed happy to be there. When our food came out, we were not let down. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold - as it should be. Everything was delicious. On our way out, we told them they need to open a location on the West side of town because they would definitely become a West side favorite!
Good size portions, friendly service, fresh ingredients! We had a blast!
I was having a bad day and it was cold and raining outside and my friend chose to pick me up and bring me to this place. I was very surprised and in aw from all the colors and the music and the lovely service... not to mention that huge margarita I had (get u one) lol you won't regret it!
Being new to the area I found this place to be quite nice and the food was pretty good.
Always friendly service and delicious food. More tex mex than authentic, super kid friendly. Delicious margaritas. Tropical is my favorite on the rocks with salt.

I just ordered 2 Texas Chimichangas from there. I asked for one with no steak because I don't eat beef. When I get home to eat my food my order is made incorrectly. I called the restaurant and informed them beef was in one of them. I asked if they want me to send a pic, but the lady said to bring the food back. My reply is are you replacing my food and refund. She said no. Now, how is it that you mess my order up and then want me to drive 20 minutes back to you and you not refund me but waste my gas. Bad business model. Don't have me pay twice for your mistake.
I don't eat Mexican food very often cause everywhere I got it taste the same. But this place has actual flavor in there food. I will drive the 30 minutes it takes for me to get there!! Best place hands down!!
