Place had a lot of potential, just missed the mark for us.Did Beignets as an appetizer cause life is short. The outside was nice and crisp and the filling is tasty, but it’s just mashed sweet potato so it comes across as soggy. Just be warned it’s not bready like an actual donut. It certainly didn’t stop us from eating them all.Pork chop was shoe leather. Super disappointed. The charred marshmallow sweet mash came on the side instead of under like the picture, which actually turned out better. The waitress said people either love or hate it, and I was in the hate it group. It’s hard to say what went wrong, the thyme didn’t really go with the rest of the flavors or something. I also asked for a side of the bourbon barrel stout chili and was not impressed. They were out of cornbread so missed that train too.Desserts were pretty plain, not bad, but nothing special.Their bourbon barrel stout is ok… probably wouldn’t order again.Service wasn’t great, but everyone has a bad night, so I’d give them a pass on that. Burgers look alright and they have other beers to try. I’d try other places before coming back.

Came here randomly after brunch to sample some flights of beer and decided to play flight roulette. The bartender, Mark, talked to us for a few minutes to see what we usually drank and came up with a nice mix. He was knowledgeable and answered our questions about it and provided extra information about it. We sampled a couple of other beers, before settling into favorites. The staff was conversational and nice. Ordered a pretzel that came with cheese and mustard and was huge. Chef Ty came out to chat with us for a bit and was friendly. Staff seems to enjoy working there and interact well with each other. Overall atmosphere was really chill. Will be coming back.

The food was disgusting. We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes. It came with an aioli sauce that tasted like Grill scrapings. I also had a salmon dinner that was 4 oz of salmon if I was lucky. The salmon was gross and also tasted like Grill scrapings. I spit it out. My wife tasted it and spit it out too. I was comped for the fried green tomatoes and the salmon. I said something to a manager about the fried green tomato sauce and he admitted that it was Grill scraping in the aioli sauce. I'm praying that I don't get food poisoning from the salmon. The waitress was amazing so I made sure she had a good tip. The food was so gross. Even the waitress was embarrassed that she had to serve it.

Loved the grilled kale ceasar! Had a great smokiness and heartiness to it and the cornbread croutons were a nice touch. The wings were ok, we got the medium chipotle garlic and mild Buffalo. The service was friendly. Surprisingly empty on a Friday evening so there was no wait.

Waitress was amazing. Food was fantastic. Great atmosphere.

Stopped by this place when I was downtown Indianapolis. I had a burger because that's what I like most. The tater tots were crispy and had good seasoning on them. The burger was a tad bit salty but overall it was good.

Made a stop to check out the beers and grab a bite. The beers we had were good and flavorful, the salads were fresh and the portions were plentiful! Nice place!

Just got done eating at Goodwood and it was great! The prices may be a couple dollars more than I would like. However, the quality of the food more than makes up for the cost. I ordered The Drunken Chicken Sandwich w/ Spicy Braised Collards and it was truly excellent! Not to mention that the waiting staff is more than deserving of their tip. We were not left waiting or looking for our waitress at any time, they were very kind and attentative. I would recommend Goodwood 10 out of 10 times, it is a must for anyone in the Indianapolis area whether you live there or just passing through.

Walked in. place was a little busy. ordered drinks. then ordered food when drinks got there. Brandon S. was our waiter he did really well. with our luck lately with restaurants we had the best service in a while. Thanks Brandon. Food was good. Burgers were a little dry. no pink in the burgers. But hubby and friend liked the flavor. Tator tots were the bomb.. lol. I had the drunken chicken. It was cooked perfect. It was tasty. We really enjoyed our visit. I recommend Goodwood. my only complaint is I asked for a taste of 2 of their ciders and I was charged 1 dollar for each and then a random charge of $2 It just says strawberry. I didn't see that on the menu. my husband is good at not looking at his reciept. gonna have to start myself.

When I first walked and I said this place is HUGE! Good Wood, located in the heart of circle city is know for burgers, brews and brunch. With its upscale, sophisticated bar atmosphere and location you’d think this is for the boujie people, but nope! It’s very family/kid friendly! It’s split right down the middle (left and right side). The left side has 180 booths and tables, a few tvs in the wall but to the right is your full blown bar, massive tv(s) and in my opinion, where the party happens!I sampled the Buffalo cauliflower (mmmm mmm good) chipotle wings, the away man burger (definitely get it) and the chocolate chip ice cream dessert with the drizzle chocolate on it.If you’re in the area, be sure to stop in and tellem your favorite @travelingfoodieguyde sent you and tag me in your pics/videos!
