Definitely works out for large groups, Vegans beware. Inexpensive and they accommodated my group of 27 in a room.
The last American buffet restaurant of its kind around here in central Indiana which is a shame since most Golden Corral places have closed down and its variety of American/Tex-Mex food is just awesome and gotta love their sweet tea and we really need more restaurants of this kind since going to a Chinese buffet all the time gets boring. So I highly recommend this place to eat all what you want and it's a nice place to bring the family or friends.
We purchase carry out usually on Sunday after worship services... The cat fish, okra and peas are our favorite... We like the chicken but our favorite pieces (legs and wings) are not available a lot of the time.
I had the greens, 1 piece fried chicken and mashed potatoes. It was good. I had a slice of the sugar free cake and a slice of the sugar free blackberry pie. It was good. I wish they had cornbread with no sugar. I do not like jiffy cornbread. Melissa who served us our drinks was really nice and friendly. She kept our beverage glasses full.
Took my niece to eat on a Friday night and the food was fresh, the food areas were clean and our server Michael was awesome!! Prices have gone crazy though! Almost $30 for 1 adult and child. Other than the price, best Golden Corral experience!
Went for Mother's Day with a party of 10 and they were busy but we were seated in a timely manner. Our waiter was super friendly and checked on our table often. They kept hot fresh food on the buffet.
food was good service was good I would definitely go back
They get busy so don't expect a pristine dining room during dinner rush. Certain food stations were more appetizing than others and silverware wasn't available with flatware. The staff was nice and the food was filling.
You know this is an all you can eat buffet right!? They offer a lot of different options to choose from. From different types of salads to pot roast, to fudge for dessert. Oh and their yeast rolls are AMAZING! Look, this isn't a high class establishment, BUT if you're hungry, want a lot to choose from, and aren't really sure what you're in the mood for, this is a good place to go. Here's the bad - the place is always crowded and the floors in the seating area are pretty nasty at times. But the food is surprisingly pretty good. Just like every restaurant, they offer some food that you may not like, but that's the best thing about this place; you're not stuck with that 1 menu item that you think sucks! If you can tolerate the pigs at the pig trough and the messes they leave, while enjoying a pretty good meal, this should be in consideration for the next time you're hungry.
Ordered 10 ounce steak, medium but it was very well done and dry. The potato salad was inedible. It tasted spoiled. The baked beans and roll was okay. This was a delivery order or I would've returned it.
