Because I love Mediterranean food, I have this restaurant three tries in six months. Today will be my least visit. The food in the warming table needed to be replenished. The help didn’t seem to be in any hurry to do so, resulting in my partially filled plate sitting out as this young man took his time. We ended leaving the restaurant before getting served. . This was most disappointing.
Clean eating! #veganfood couscous, cucumber/tomatoes salad, roaming lettuce, red luttuce, red olives, yellow rice, and falafel (fried chicpea) and hummus in the middle! Pitabread in my hand (not pictured) Bon A Petite! Staff was very nice and kind! Thank you!
I want to like and support newer, healthy restaurants like this, but they are just average and I cannot see myself spending $15 for a meal that is average. The food and tzatziki sauce tastes average. The staff is average, they don't really go out of their way and are not that friendly. The food line is like Qdoba, there are many things to choose from and you have no idea if any of those things is included in your meal or if it is extra. You think one thing will be included, you ask for it, you get to the cashier, and it costs extra. Other things are included and you have no idea that it did not cost anything. If you ask the person waiting on you, you cannot understand them because they have a mask on and they seem, at best, slightly bothered that you are asking and there are other people to get through the food line. Furthermore, the thermostat was set on 65 degrees and their metal chairs were freezing. The soft drinks were kind of fun being organic and different. I am afraid I will never pay that much for a gyro meal when I can go to Al Basha and get quality food, they wait on you, all for the same price.
This place is delicious. The veggies are well seasoned and, as another reviewer mentioned, the falafel is fried fresh to order. My dad liked his gyro here more than a fancier place we had tried nearby. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. And bonus, the take-away containers are compostable! ... just about every time I come here, I'm impressed by how good the quality and value are. And the only time they overdid the falafel, the manager offered complimentary coupons. Quick, fresh, with great customer service and quality. Glad we tried it out and I continue to come back.
We had never been here. We tried some new things and they were delicious. Try the orange hummus! The bowls are like 2 meals so paying $10 wasn't bad. I had leftovers the next day. Yellow rice and Falafel are delicious. They cook the falafel and fries fresh as you order.
I ordered Garbanzo today for lunch. This was my first time having it, & will probably be my last. I got the gyro plate & the food was cold & the pita was rock hard. Disappointing
I ordered a gyro with extra mushrooms from doordash. The food was so delicious and packaged so well I have to come here to write a review. Dang it was absolutely outstanding. I will definitely refer everyone to Garbanzo, super impressed.
Very good food! I'm surprised at how little people go here it is very quick and fresh and great to get for a small snack or big meal. The kitchen looks clean and you can choose what you get like chipotle. Definitely check it out!*I did edit this from a five to four because there rice seems to be inconsistently good and just fine.
Will definitely visit again! ? ??
Underrated place. You can choose your own items to put in a bowl/wrap/plate, HEALTHY and flavorful Mediterranean food.
