My family and I showed up last night about 2 hours before the sign said they closed. When going up to the counter the lady came from the back and mentioned they were cleaning up to close acting all annoyed. Then a teenage girl ignored us for about a couple minutes before taking our order focusing on putting trash bags in trash cans and sweeping the back before paying any attention to us while two other employees just stood there ignoring us as well. We didn’t get our drinks and when mentioned to the girl at the counter, she just threw them on the table almost making one fall on the floor. They said they didn’t have any mushrooms so they were unable to make an Engineer. But this ended up being a lie because they put mushrooms on a Turkey Bacon Ranch even though that sandwich doesn’t come with any mushrooms. The all out attitude from the employees was unacceptable. If you can’t hire employees that show they care about the customers either don’t hire them or shut the place down. I’m not coming back to this place.
Waited for five minutes at 1:00 in the afternoon just to get our order taken. They were counting the register and just ignored everyone. Finally, he asked another less than enthusiastic employee to take our order. We get our sandwiches and everything is wrong. As we were already back on the freeway it wasn’t worth turning around.Very poor service and attitudes. My first time there and I will NEVER buy from any firehouse again!
One of the few near me that I can get to now and then. Had my favorite the sweet n spicy meatball sub. This sub is always my go to when I am not feeling many of the other great choices like the brisket is superbly made... Service is always helpful and when you check out always up your change to the nearest dollar and donate to the firemen of America
I was an employee for a few months and the way they treat their employees is hideous. The general manager likes to play a game where she acts like your friend but then throws you under the bus at the first moments notice. I worked as hard as I could and all I ever got was disrespect and discredited. Now they told me that they are refusing to give me my last check because apparently they watched the cameras and I wasn't working. This store and the management behind it is a joke, the food is decent but trust that this location will only get worse with time.
Upon arrival to the Beech Grove Indiana location on 3/29 Quinton was the only staff member working there was 8 people sitting waiting on food and around 20customers served plus online orders as well but this said employee didn't let being under staffed slow hom down despite waiting for 35 minutes for my food his dedication needs recognized by not only store managers but corporate staff as well. It takes individuals like quinton to keep a business flowing always happy to support business's who give back but I think today Quinton needs that appreciation. There were customers whom stated they were waiting for 45 minutes before we arrived and help showed up roughly 30 minutes after
Not only was the food good at our first experience with Firehouse Subs but this location had a truly wonderful employee. She was working hard the whole time we were there. While we figured out what our four kids wanted to eat, she brought hats to each of them. These firefighter hats have been a hit for days! It was a fun experience on our trip.
First time I ever had it. My mom gave me a gift certificate months ago and I just used it. The sandwiches were great. They did forget my macaroni and cheese, but I'm their defense, I did too. I actually ordered it after the sandwiches as an after thought so it was a different order. I didn't think about it until after I got home realizing I grabbed the bag of sandwiches and never waited on the Mac and cheese. ??♀️
I hadn’t been in a few years and thought I would give it a go. I got the cheesesteak and there was barely any meat on it. It was almost a joke to me. It had a good flavor and was moist but again…where’s the meat? Much better steak generous sub shops out there. Won’t be back to Firehouse, lesson learned. ?
The taste was cool, the sandwich you actually taste the meat without getting extra. I ordered online but still had to wait for a bit. The cost could be better. Facility appearance was clean inside. Pictured is a Large Club. Daughter had Potato soup she said she liked it.
My food was good, until I saw they cut my sandwich with a dirty knifeGot a simple steak sandwich, and there was some sort of red sauce where it was cut, when I ordered it with no sort of red sauce. It's cold outside, and they have flies flying around. The guy who took my order clearly didn't want to be there,I ask him how he was doing,he says "I'm here"
