Steak was cooked perfectly! Our waiter was also very attentive!

We have gone here a lot and have always said we have had great food and wine. However this time our service was terrible, our waiter only came to our table three times including giving us our check. My husbands steak was over cooked and the marys potatoes were not whipped almost like they just mashed them part way. As we have gone here a lot not sure if we would go back due to the poor food and service this time around.
We had received a gift card to Cooperâs Hawk from our kids at Christmas. We had never been and it took us a minute to coordinate our schedules to make a trip south to Indy. We are so glad we reserved the entire afternoon. No schedule, great atmosphere and the food & wines were absolutely amazing! Three course meal & wine tasting was the perfect escape we needed. We look forward to our next trip!
the food was excellent, unfortunately the rest of the dining experience was total crap. Our reservation was 8:30pm for inside dining. we kept getting told they were waiting for people to get up. i understand people linger at a restaurant like that, but it should be taken in consideration. 25 minutes after our reservation time they offered us a table outside. since it had cooled down, and we were hungry, we decided to take it. when our waitress finally did show, she was visibly harried, like every she did was rushed, and she was constantly in hurry up mode. This didnt stop her from giving us a breakdown of her day, like i wanted to know. we had to wait a long time for everything. my fiance asked multiple times what the points balance of her wine club membership was but never got an answer, only apologies that she forgot, during the evening, a party bus pulled up 20 feet way from where we we sitting, and was noisily idling for 15- 20 minutes while it waited for guests to load up. this should have been done behind the building. why does management allow that to happen? after we were done, we waited and waited for our waitress to bring us the cheque. the patio was empty at that point save 1 other table, so no reason for any delay. I had enough at that point and tracked down the manager. Again, the food was excellent, and i dont mind paying the premium, but i expect the service to match. the next morning, i went to a little restaurant in Nashville IN for breakfast. avg cost was about 10-$15 per meal, and i got excellent service
We started off with a wine tasting. The wine was great, and you get to taste 7-8 wines. The food was amazing, from the appetizer to the main course to dessert. Drinks were also top notch. This is one of my favorite restaurants, and my boyfriend enjoyed his first visit there! We will definitely be back! My only complaint is there was a large party in the corner close to us, and they were very loud and obnoxious. That definitely took away the vibe they should be Cooperâa Hawk. Once they left, it was much more enjoyable.
