Great BBQ with a variety of sauce choices. I dont like a huge amount of meat. We ordered 1 sandwich with an extra bun. There still was enough meat, in my opinion for 2 more sandwiches. My son enjoyed the mac n chs. The fries could have been better. Got the end of the batch, apparently. They were not great. Hushpuppies were good. Will definitely go back though.
It never fails they constantly are always messing up my order. This is the third order that they messed up. I ordered two of the leg and thigh meals and they didn't include my texas toast in neither of the meals. They didn't even have this order in a city barbecue bag. This is one of the reasons why I rarely ever go here. I just wanted to use my birthday coupon that I had and of course they got my order wrong again.
Always great food. The ribs and brisket were meaty and delicious, with or without sauce your taste buds are in for a treat.
The food was fantastic. There were 3 of us so we were advised to order the sampler. It had ribs, 1/4 chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. We upgraded 2 of the sides and ordered an extra side and it was just over $40 dollars. It also came with texas toast and cornbread. The service was phenomenal. The restaurant was clean. Best BBQ I've had in Indiana. I'll go back for sure.
The food is exceptionally good. The employees are kind and helpful. I had the Pick 2 plate. My 2 selections were pulled pork and sausage. My side items were creamy coleslaw and baked beans. The desserts looked good too, but I had to limit my sugar intake. The baked beans were a little too sweet but incredibly good. Prices are somewhere in the middle. I would give the prices a rating of two dollar signs ($$).
Delicious sauces, no wait, yummy food, great kids menu, awesome selection of sides, reasonable prices and best of all, despite being busy, staff was super nice, accommodating and very friendly. One staff member went above and beyond with her kindness with my kids and they felt special and grown-up. We can't wait to come back. Seriously, those hush puppies!! ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the judges meal which fed myself and my husband with plenty left over to take home. Chicken was my favorite but the pulled pork and brisket were soooo good. My husband loved the ribs as well. All of that meat, 2 sides and 2 pieces of cornbread for $35!!! What a deal!!! Def recommend if you are wanting some amazing smoked BBQ at a good price. The only minor issue was the triple chocolate cake. Looks so delicous and everyone we seen coming in and out was buying a piece, so of course we had to try it being our first time there. It was good, but dry. Slightly disappointing. Will def be coming back tho!! ??
Place wasn't too bad. My son didn't care for what was a new or different looking sandwich. I didn't really see anything that you would expect on most kids meals. As far as the food for the adults, you can't beat it if you like BBQ style dinner. The serving size is definitely not small.Certain barbeque sauces could make your food probably not the best. I would recommend finding the one you like the best before sending your sandwich or anything else swimming in it.
This rating is for their potato salad. We regularly buy a quart of it as a side for whatever we are making at home. I wish they would share the recipe. It's incredible!
I hate to give this a one star rating, but we’ve been here several times over the last few years, and I feel it’s just not as good as it was in previous visits. Let’s start with price. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with fries, coleslaw and a drink. I had the choose 2 meats, which you only got two meats and NO SIDES for a whopping $18!! I added macaroni and cheese and green beans and a side of 3 ribs( which was $10 for those ribs alone!!), plus a drink. Then there was peach cobbler for dessert. Our bill was almost $70!!!!! Absolutely outrageous…my jaw almost hit the floor. The menu needs revamped as far as combos go. There just isn’t enough to choose from that makes sense money wise. Now, as far as staff is concerned, everyone was friendly and nice! Now on to taste. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich, he wasn’t crazy about the fries, but he enjoyed the coleslaw! I had pulled pork, which was delicious, and the brisket, which I’ll say was completely fatty…don’t even waste your time with it. I understand a layer of fat, that’s common, but not a layer of fat and fat dispersed throughout the meat. It was like biting a piece of meat encased in jello…as soon as it went in my mouth, I had to spit it right out, yuck! Then the ribs were not all that great either…a big waste of $10!! The green beans we’re not having much flavor either, and the onions could stand to be left out. The macaroni and cheese was decent at least. The bbq sauce was not tasty either, and it seemed to have lumps of some sort in it, which was disgusting. The peach cobbler I had to wait 30 mins or longer for them to cook it. It wasn’t even that great either. My Valentine’s dinner with my husband was less than in many ways! Please make some changes City BBQ to better your brand!
