!!!UPDATE: customer service reached out to address my concern on my recent visit. She took care of the situation & made things right. I really do appreciate companies who lookout for their customers & not just ignore them . I will be back in the future to give the restaurant another chance.Old review: For $30 I wasnt completely satisfied with my meal as I had hoped. Starting off with the banana pudding, it wasn't filled to the top of the cup (or maybe due to my sweet tooth I just expected a little more ?) & what made it worse...it did not taste fresh like the last time. I couldn't get past the 1st scoop. Fries looked like they could've been fried a little longer & they were salty. Good portion sizes for the meat & coslaw. It's been years since I've tried city bbq but today's experience confirmed that I will not be back. I like Mission BBQ better. 10/10 for the friendly customer service & speedy checkout.
This place is amazingly good . First great staff that’s helpful and friendly. Music is blues and that is awesome as well . The food incredible . I got a sampler plate and it had all the meats and none disappointed. Turkey moist , pork good flavor and brisket perfectly pulled part with great bark . Green beans and bacon plus hand cut fries as sides over the top delicious.
It's a chain BBQ place, which there is nothing wrong with when they don't cut corners and they don't cut corners here.The brisket was excellent. The beans, unlike many BBQ places are not vinegary and are more on the brown sugar side, which I approve.The service is counter, but they bring the food to the table of the dune ins. That said, the service is excellent and everyone was friendly.Big recommend.
This place has the best pulled pork, I wish it was a chain, but then it probably wouldn't be as good.
Food wasn’t bad at all!! But for $75 it wasn’t a good amount, plus they forgot my texas toast.OAN: Jumping jack with the hair was jumping around hair flying all over the place!! his hair should be in a net!! ?
I was just there qnd you guys were out of turkey so the young lady gave us brisket in its place but the young lady that was fixing my food had q problem with the substitute she was really rude about it even qfter the manager said it was OK I visit this location often and I have never came across a rude employee like her she has the worst attitude and I don't think I nor my family will be coming back!!!!
Me and my husband went there for our first time. It was a great experience. We were greated by a very friendly, great customer service cashier named Kennedy. I loved her pink hair. She gave us samples to help with deciding what sides we wanted. Its always good dining when you have good food and good service. I recommend this place. Thanks Kennedy
Amazing experience!! First know that we are a HARD TO PLEASE couple,from years of being in this industry we both expect A lot! That being said...from the promptly answered phone to my leftovers today,I was very happy with the entire experience!We ordered the family pack and I must say u really get a lot of bang for your buck here! We have never done carryout before,usually we dine in. We choose to carryout this time on a Friday night in the middle of the dinner rush. I really wish I had got the girls name who took my order because she did SUCH an AMAZING job! As busy as they were she took her time with me to make sure I was getting what I wanted and even went on to explain details that where above and beyond. Because of her my entire experience began on a very positive note! When I arrived it was very busy! I could see everyone rushing around, working hard. Even the Manager (maybe owner)was working to fill orders.Next our food was DELICIOUS!!!I was even impressed with the packaging,normally I would put any leftovers in my own Tupperware but because they use quality packaging I didn't need to.If u are looking for authentic bbq,City Bbq will not disappoint!Keep up the great work! We will be back!
I am truly disappointed with the meal that I received on my last visit. And, this is, well used to be my favorite BBQ establishment. My order was incorrect. And, the collard greens were so salty that I ended up disposing of them. The customer service was lacking, also. Apparently, the store had run out corn pudding. Instead of asking me if I would like something else, a decision was make to simply place the item in my bag without consent. Thanks. While I am here, I need to point out that my order was rang up incorrectly. ( requested corn pudding not an extra pint og greens or cornbread.) I have already completed the online survey and I have to say that I can't afford to spend $60 dollars of bad and wrong food. Very disappointing...
OMG...can I give 6 out of 5 stars? Be prepared to get sticky fingers. The Ribs...Good! The Brisket...Good! The Cole Slaw...Good! The Stew...Good! People are missing out on this Underrated and Great BBQ joint with Service, Friendly Staff. Highly Recommended.
