Jules was amazing. The service was outstanding and we loved our meals! Thanks Jules for being awesome!
Jules was the best! Perfect way to end our weekend trip to Indy! Delicious food drinks & amazing service ??
It’s a bar/pub style setting with out side eating area. I wasn’t expecting what I got because those Baja Tacos was straight for-yah, I had a trout taco it was good but made cool so I’m not a huge fan because I’m part of the some who like it hot. You got to check em out. Margaritas was frozen with the mango and it was on point with the house seasoned rim. It all left a tasty kiss on my lips, I will be back sooner than later to try this spot again. Hours later it will have you wanting to go back it was that tasty.
And a great night, their staff excellent and the range of the kilos was amazing!
Fast and friendly service. Had a variety of options for tacos and we just ordered a bunch. All were good (variety of elements: salty, sweet, fresh, sour). I'd certainly go back. We went midday on a weekday so I'm not sure how busy it gets otherwise, but I enjoyed myself.
Went for brunch. Over priced, tiny portions. Ridiculous really. And the taste was nothing special. Let's go to the pictures.Guacamole: for a whooping $12, you get to enjoy a tiny cup of guacamole with average chips. You'd think for $12 you'd get a large stone bowl, prepared by the table, or something nice. You'd be wrong. For another $12, you get to enjoy two tiny chicken filled mini tortillas, dry as cardboard, and the only edible item, two similar sized tacos, but at least topped with good toppings. The only good think that came out of this brunch. Though that's not saying much at all.And for yet another $12, the topper of it all, the "cholita tostada". my wife's hand for scale but by my guess, it's about 3.25“ circumference and contains about half an egg, some slices of avocado, and a little smear of beans and lettuce. Yes, that little thing was $12. Crazy!I have been to restaurants where you get tiny portions but they make up in amazing taste and quality. That's not the case here. This makes me think the pricing is just to make the brunch all-you-can-eat, a better deal. And screw those dumb ala cart ordering patrons!Servers were nice but we will never go back here at these prices, portions, and quality. Utter disappointment.
I had the best first time at Cholita! Jules was the best server, so attentive. I can’t believe I haven’t been here yet! I can’t wait to come back again soon and bring my friends.

Unlimited Brunch is available Saturdays and Sundays 11-4. We tried it for the 1st time a year ago on a Sunday when they also have a DJ and Saturday before Mother's Day. I preferred the Saturday experience as it was less busy and not as loud. We were fortunate to get a table on their front covered porch that keeps you out of the elements but still allows the outside air to pass through and have a view of the main drag in Broad Ripple. They do require that everyone at the table order the unlimited if wishing to try it, but for $25 / person it's a decent deal as you may choose anything from their brunch menu, 1 item at a time (2 hour max). If you're hungry, it's a good way to sample a variety of items. On our Sunday visit a year ago, there were a few occasions where we sat without food waiting for the server to return, but on our recent Saturday visit Brooke was very good about checking in on us and taking our next order as we finished each round. The only real negative on this visit was that a few of the dishes that folks in our party received weren't as temperature hot as they would have liked. We started with their Chips+Salsa, Guacamole+Chips, and Queso Fundido (served with triangular cut soft tortillas slices). The salsa was good even though it was more runny than chunky, the guac was very good and a nice chunky blend of ingredients, but the queso is a truly addicting baked cheese with cheese crunchies surrounding the skillet. One of the folks in our party even ordered it again later for themselves. I went with the Egg+Cheese Folded Crispy Tacos for the 1st round. They were pretty good and not what I pictured. They were more like 2 small tostadas that were loaded with egg, cheese, lettuce, guac & sauce. Would do again. For the 2nd round, I tried the Biscuit + Gravy. I love biscuits and gravy, but I wouldn't order this again. It's a cheddar jalapeño biscuit, which was very good, with a chorizo gravy that isn't your typical sausage gravy. I usually find a little chorizo goes a long way, so it was a just a bit much for me. It also had a sunny side egg on top, which isn't my preference either. For the 3rd round, I went with Baja San Diego, 2 crispy cod fish tacos with cheese, pico, and cabbage. I very much enjoyed them and would order them again. Lastly, I finished with the Mole Spiced Cinnamon Roll. It's a decent sized roll covered in diced walnuts and a caramel sauce. My wife thought the cinnamon reminded her of red hot candies, not a bad thing. It was a good way to finish the meal. Other members did Fundido Sliders (2 pretzel bun angus sliders with queso and pico), which he liked a lot, Grilled Adobo Shrimp Taco, which she said was amazing, Mexican Hot Fried Chicken Waffle, although she didn't love the waffle, and Churro Donuts, which she said were over the top sweet.
I was not impressed. Al pastor tacos need good quality pork. These didn’t have it, and they were lacking in flavor. No hot or other sauces were made available. Good guacamole and cordial and efficient service. There is a nice terrace for outdoor dining, but it is on a busy street where, as is typical in Indianapolis, “outdoors” means surrounded by car noise and car fumes. Not a pleasant place to dine or talk. Not the restaurant’s fault but it detracted from the experience.
