It was good, I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because this particular place can be hit or miss depending on who is working. Only complaint I had last time i went is the salsa was really watered down, I like when the salsa has some substance to it and not the consistency of tomato soup, but even though it was watered down it still taste amazing. Keep up the hard work, i know that times are hard and it's rough finding good employees these days.
This chili’s has its ups and downs lately. Formerly my favorite Chili’s in INDY, this one suffered since the pandemic. Often long wait times between seating and ordering and then getting your order. I am happy to say it is looking up though. This last visit was great. Seated immediately during dinner time. Ordered pretty soon after and the food was out in good time. It tasted great for the most part. They have the best chips and salsa around and the chipotle honey chicken crispers are top notch.
THE best burger I have ever eaten. 1 pound meatball with cheese and a sweet bbq sauce.Take the Big Burger BBQ
Honestly love chilis but the last two times we have come to this one we’ve had the same server. I don’t know if it’s because we’re a young couple but she talks to us like she would rather be anywhere but there. She took our order and didn’t come back to bring food, drinks, check in, boxes, check, nothing. It was all done by another waitress. Our table tablet was dead so the other waitress brought us another and got our check pulled up, we paid and were getting up to leave.. our waitress came back and awkwardly stood at the end of our booth trying to talk to us, so we couldn’t even leave. Wanted to talk to the manager about making sure other waitress got the tip but she was helping other tables. These stars are all for the waitress that took over our table, if not for her I would be giving a pretty bad review
Chilis is pretty consistent wherever I go. It feels like, since COVID, the menu has gotten simplified and the portions are smaller. Additionally, like everyone else, they seem to be doing their best with fewer servers. The flavors are all as I remember from before but I miss a few of the dishes.
When went in there was virtually no one sitting at tables, I am talking empty, which in it self was somewhat creepy thinking back. The only people we could see were a couple of folks at the bar. We waited of course to be seated, and waited, and waited nothing. Five people standing at a hostess stand are hardly invisible, so after about 8-9 minutes without even an acknowledgement we just left.
Food was made fresh. Service was decent, lack of staff I’m sure was the reason for the wait times. The two running the floor was doing their best.
I have never eaten here and not sure if I ever will I called to place an order the individual couldn't explain to me what I was looking at on my phone unfortunately it didn't have a name of the dish he put me on hold saying he was going to get someone that had a better idea of the menu and never came back I don't understand the mentality of the working class today for some people it's just doesn't make any sense
Worse experience possible. Ordered potato soup never got and weWaited one hour for meal. Bar was full ofDirty bar drink glasses. Was not busy atAll the place was dirty big time. No business there was no excuse why we had to wait and the tables werent cleaned off
Chillis is usually spot on but this experience was not. No.wait time were immediately seated. We were waited on by "D" she wasn't bad but definitely could improve in customer service, and the skills needed to make an excellent waitress. The strawberry lemonade ordered were bland!! We requested additional puree thinking it would.help nope no flavor sweetness nothing just tasted like water and strawberry puree instead of a strawberry lemonade. The food we ordered presentation was good,however it was messed up. Ordered the big bbq bacon burger specifically requesting only bacon and bbq it comes to the table prepared with smothered cheese and normal toppings it was just an inconvenience. Would we come back.to this particular location no.
