Their chicken salad is very good. They offer several "add-ins" to their chicken salad .I had a scoop of the original and a scoop with cranberries and almond slivers. Both were good.
This place is great! Went the 1st day and my expectations were exceeded. Once you find what chicken salad you love from there, the rest will be history. All of the employees have upbeat attitudes, which is a nice change from most fast food places. Justin the manager was super nice and wanting to talk to customers. This place will be my new go to. (I see some reviews that are to me a new store opening and new employees learning type of thing…they have been slammed and have done great with the learning curves. Give them a chance) ?
Don't go close to closing, out of all bread, no potato soup, no broccoli salad, got to the window to pay they were out of the chicken salad I ordered so I suggested three other before I found one they actually had. I paid $12 for a scoop of potato salad and a bag of chips very disappointing ! This location has been open for two weeks but wow get it together Chicken Salad Chick!
Our visit was not great. In line for over half an hour. We got close...within 5 people of the front. To be notified they were out of sides. Not low...out. Order. Ask about the dessert. With a bit of attitude was told. No...out of sides. I asked about dessert. Not sides. There was more but I hope it gets better.
My wife and I visited here today. We had The Chick with the Olivia's chicken salad sandwich and macaroni and cheese. That was delicious ?. She got a drink also. They have a wide variety of drinks. I met the manager, Justin Charles. Very nice person. Also met the CEO, Scott Devincey. He was probably there for the grand opening. Check out all my photos. There was a line to the door when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. We tried the Fancy Nancy and Kickin' Kay Lynne on croissants and they were both delicious. I got the grape salad and my husband tried the loaded potato soup and both were fantastic. Meals come with a pickle and a mini buttercream frosted cookie that are reminiscent of Lofthouse cookies. Highly recommend.
I was so excited for the opening but waited the next week. So Tues at 6:45 I waited in line at the drive thru they were out of what I ordered so ordered the Barbie Q on a croissant and broccoli salad. Got home and totally disappointed. There was hardly any chicken salad on it so little you could not even tell it had a bbq flavor, the broccoli salad was literally two bites! I don’t expect any more than what I pay for and this sandwich was a $1.50 sandwich only because of the croissant!
Went to Chicken Salad Chick on S Emerson last night. The service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The chicken salad is excellent. My wife had the Fancy Nancy and I had the Kickin Kay Lynne. Both were some of the best chicken salad I have tasted. The restaurant is nicely decorated, very clean, and adequately staffed. The cookie that comes with your meal was very good. My only complaint, and the reason for this being a 4 star review and not a five, is that the portion size is very small for the price. I sincerely question whether this was a 4 ounce portion. It certainly was no where near 6 ounces. I know materials costs are up, but seriously the portion size is small.
I had Fancy chicken salad. Would be nice if the grapes were cut in half or 4ths. Lacking something. Salt, lemon....? It was okay, but needs a boost. Won't get again
We ask for onions and sliced almonds and they said cannot add these additional toppings, only lettuce or tomato.We tried the classic and it was bland, very little celery.I did purchase an extra serving of the savory and it did taste the best out if the classic and onion. Much more flavor.Very good concept, but they need to allow more custom toppings to kick it up.I do like the ready packaged salads ready to go.
