The chicken salad had a great consistency, not too sweet & an even amount of ingredients. Potato soup didnt taste as rich & fresh as it did on opening day BUT they always give plenty of crackers & it was still good. I could taste the tap water in my tea so i didnt finish it & went somewhere else to get me a pop. No complaints other than that. I like the portion size of the food, you get your moneys worth in my opinion.
What a wonderful place to eat! The ambiance is very charming and the dining room is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and well versed on the food they sell. If you have questions, they have answers. Don't know what you want? They will give you a sample!I have had some of the yummiest food here! I highly recommend the Classic Carol as well as the egg salad, and the broccoli salad and pasta salads are divine! Portions are plentiful and you will not leave hungry.If you haven't been here, you must come!
OK my suspicions were correct. Whenever you have a couple of foxy silver foxes at the counter pushing chicken salad you know it's going to be legit... The food was delicious and the sandwich was well made and generously sized. They offer many different styles of chicken salad and they are refreshingly unique. Definitely stop by this place for some food, it's outstanding!
To be honest I don't even like chicken salad, nor did I like what I got here. BUT everyone in the restaurant was really polite and helpful. Probably not coming not ever coming back but keep up the good work!
Chicken salad is really good, nice combination with soup, and a large variety of different styles. I’m a basic, onion, celery, mayo, salt, pepper, chicken, and toss it on a croissant. Drive-through was fast, food was good, and would have given 5 stars but how are you out of lettuce?
Adorable setting! So pleasurable and heart warming, I didn't want to leave!! Inviting, welcoming and comforting pure and simple. I wanted to try everything on their menu. Guess I'll have to return to their quaint, lovely store. Ah, too bad.? Owners, you might want to add to your menu a variety of teas ? in an array of tea pots and teacups with saucers. You're attempting to present the good 'ol fashion charm, right? Then pull out all the stops from charming decor to charming attire!I know in these times it's difficult to find extraordinary employees, but they are the difference between having a good relationship with them
The brown apples in my fresh salad is a great example of how awesome my first order went. Ordered ahead and paid for pickup.. Order was late because the cook thought I Order bbq chicken salad nope.. Gotta read.. Read it again oops we can make it but it was made wrong. I asked for no tomatos and bacon on the side. That didn't happen.. Cashiers take orders from others and prepare your food so big chance of getting Covid here! None of the associates wears a mask... Yep, first and last visit..
I ordered from here for the first time yesterday and it was delicious! I had Lauryn's Lemon Basil chicken salad and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The food was delicious and packed tidily for me to take back to the office. I received a cute little cookie with my order. It was customer appreciation day, so I also received a free cup of "Classic Carol" chicken salad and I just got done eating it for lunch today! Very tasty! Staff was courteous and quick. All were masked. I will be going here often on my days in the office!
The chicken salad here is awesome!!!!I've been to several locations over the last 3 months it's consistent in every store and it's good if you like chicken salad this is the place to go Also their pimento cheese is very good!!!
I love this place! The staff were incredibly friendly, very helpful, offered many suggestions, and super fast service. The prices are incredibly reasonable! They also gave free tastes if you were unsure! I never imagined there could be so many types of chicken salads! I cannot wait for the one to open on the Southside of Indianapolis! Lastly, I had a scoop of lemon basil chicken salad (it is the bomb), a scoop of egg salad all with crackers, a small iced tea, and a cookie ALL FOR AROUND $10 and change! They gave me a free scoop of original to take home!
