The food was good no complaints there except for the potatoes being close to raw but still edible. However, it's not worth the money. 1 cluster of legs, 1 small lobster tail a few shrimps, small amount of potatoes and I didn't even get the 1 egg for $40 isn't worth it. 1/2 lb of legs equal 1 cluster. That can't be right. I'll stick to juicy and yummy seafood where you get your monies worth.

She just got a new picnic table today for outdoor seating! Shrimp and crab was amazing! Lots of food on a tray. Friendly staff! I was able to meet the Chef. She was so sweet and down to earth. She made delta 8 brownies so I had to try one! She also has flavored drinks! This is a gem! It is like knowing the secret spot in Indy. Have to try this place at least once!

The spicy of garlic loaded shrimp & crab legs was awesome! My first visit, definitely not my last!!!

Everything tasted good. I would like the seasoning on the flesh of the food and NOT the skin. I don't eat potato skin and the shell on the tip of the shrimp.

Oh my goodness this place is fan-freeking-tastic. Worth the wait. Worth the drive. Worth the price. Absolutely amazing food.

Seasoning and sauce was on point. Portions were fantastic. Only change would be the crablegs were boiled instead of steamed or cooked in the bag(traditional boil style) which took away from the crab natural brine flavor BUT the food was very good and courteous service

The food is just ok, have been wanting to try it out. Portions smaller than what she shows on her Facebook. The problem is with service, it’s very lacking. They were out of broccoli and wouldn’t give any substitute or increase portions. They refused to adjust the price to reflect not offering a full portion. Would this so called chef go to a gas station and pay for 10 gallons only to be told she’s getting 9? She wants to be supported above other similar business and uses her blackness to do so. FACT is other businesses are better. By the way, they opened late and service was slow. I would never have mentioned race, but she likes to bring up race so door open.

The food is wonderful! I can’t stress that enough but the service is less than subpar. I went today and while they were supposed to open at 11a and I arrived at 11:10a, they did not open until 11:30a. No apology, no warning nothing. This is not the first time that has happened. We waited on our food until 11:52a. This is a lunch spot and most folks only have 30 mins. The owner is wonderful but her staff is doing a huge disservice to her brand. They are regularly out of items, and while I love the idea of supporting a local black restaurant in the community, the juice is becoming to be not worth the squeeze. It’s almost like they don’t care to provide decent service because they know so many people will eat it anyways. Very disappointed, we have to do better. I will continue to support by buying her sauce and preparing it myself at home.

Was really excited to try this place as it had been featured on several shows and had great reviews online. I was severely disappointed. First we waited in line for approximately 25 minutes to place an order while the young man at the window sat on his phone. There were only 3 people in front of us and they too were waiting to place an order. After 25 minutes the young man announced they were out of potatoes and broccoli and he resumed taking orders. When asked if the price would be adjusted for the items they were out of he said no. Would extra items be given to replace the items? Again, no. We placed and order for 2 plates of crab shrimp and lobster tail loaded and 1 plate of shrimp and legs loaded ($144.00). No explanation of why the price charged didn’t match the price listed. No receipt given even when requested. Now the food. The crab legs were water logged and tasteless. Some of the shrimp wasn’t fully cooked and the lobster tails were tiny and stuck in the shells. They forgot the eggs so basically we paid for loaded plates and each got 1 piece of corn. Loaded per their menu comes with potatoes, broccoli, corn and egg. 2 of us got severely ill that afternoon about an hour after eating the food. Gong to the bathroom and throwing up. I’m not sure what the hype is about but as someone who consumes seafood daily this place was less than acceptable both in taste and customer service.

Today was my first and NOT the last experience I will have here. Service was fast and friendly! I have lived in Indy for 31 years and have NEVER found a seafood place that fills my stomach and heart with joy. I had the loaded crab and shrimp and there is PLENTY of food for the price. Portions are great but the FLAVOR is unreal! Get the garlic herb buttah, it is stupid good and then the spicy seasoning on top with the Parmesan cheese. You will not leave here disappointed or hungry. New favorite place in Indy! Hats off to Chef Oya and her team members!
