The shrimp was satisfactory but not enough to fill the sandwich. The biggest gripe I have is the overpriced (for the size) Mac & cheese that was both bland and nasty it also had these specks on it that I don’t think was seasoning, could be the location but who knows they only reply to nice reviews lol
Food is always great! I have never had bad customer service this place rocks! 8 months ago this was true but as of my recent visits I have to edit this post. The quality has plummeted and the prices skyrocketed. I have stopped eating here due to old sides being served, old grease being used and fish being overcooked or refried as if it's not OBVIOUS. Prices have gone up on everything but the QUALITY should never decline.
I really enjoy their food. I have been here 4 times and the Catfish is ALWAYS seasoned and fried perfectly. I have never been a tarter sauce person but their's is delicious! It is sweet, kinda like honey mustard. Definitely will return.
Fukn hooorible....no where near worth the price...over seasoned....need to change the greese...fried tooo hard!!!!.. Small quantity....never again!!!!!?? and need to put some hair nets on??♀️
Best fried fish you'll find in the 317. Is there better in the world? Of course. But you're in Indiana, and in th middle of that state as well. You're not by the Great Lakes or even the Ohio River. So in a city surrounded by cornfields, you take what you can get. And yet, even with those limitations, this is better fried seafood than I've gotten in some places where the ocean spray hits your face. At the very least, the buns they use make their fish sandwiches one of the best you'll ever find.
Not seasoned, hard crunchy fish and shrimp. Corn on cob wasn't seasoned, bland. Yams were okay, very small portion.
Caplingers is definitely the best seafood place I’ve ever been to! The service is excellent, the food is beyond compare, and in this economy it is a lot of bang for your buck! Would recommend to anyone!
Never disappointed food all was on point only fish place I will eat at no Jordan's no Chicago no steak and lemonade for my fish its home cooked or caplingers
I had the special Basa fish...it was amazing any the tartar sauce ????????!!! I can't wait to go back and try some more stuff!!!!
I thought it was really good, I got cod, rice and beans, Mac and cheese, also we got gatar, cornbread, green beans. It was. Delicious. Will be back
