Pretty nice establishment with a wide assortment of beer and wine. Cool and trendy spot any hotel would be happy to have near their lobby. The burgers are awesome and fresh and you can tell the culinary staff cares about their product. However, the service from the wait staff is absolutely terrible. No sense of customer service and almost downright rude. I recommend some secret shoppers to check out exactly what Burger Theory is serving up.
This is a burger only restaurant nothing else, they do have tasty appetizers. The times I've been here they weren't busy so my food came out hot and fast, so I might be spoiled. I met one of the cooks and he cooked my burger EXACTLY how I wanted it, the server/host/bartender is great as well, I didn't care for a drink she made & she politely made me another that was delicious, if you ever stay at the Homes 2 Suites or Holiday Inn (they're next door to one another) in Indianapolis by the airport, you definitely should go for a burger and cocktails.
From the silent traveler, I must say the burgers at this place will blow your mind. I've had burgers at other places but this is the most unique I'm not sure what they put extra in their meat. But it is the tastiest juiciest Burger you'll ever have. You can customize it or take one that is already made. I customize mine to a unique taste and it was delicious. I highly recommend even though this place is inside of a hotel you don't have to stay there to go there definitely stop by. I stayed at the hotel next door red great reviews about this place decided to try myself and from the silent traveler I highly suggest take a moment out and try one. Now I will tell you it is a little pricey it's not your fast food burger and it's definitely not your burger dine in but it is well worth it trust me. And make sure you tip your waitress she was on time my drink was never dry and always checked on us
Hubby picked me up at the airport at 7 p.m. so we headed straight there for a great dinner. it was fairly busy, probably mostly hotel guests, but we were still out of there in less than an hour. Service was attentive but not overpowering. I'm not much of a fry gal, but these were amazing. Fresh, hot and great seasoning. Both burgers were really good and plenty big. We hadn;t been since COVID - and the place was still AWESOME.
Wow. I’m the one who enjoys leaving nice reviews. Burger Theory did not earn one. To start, the paper menus were sticky and the table wasn’t clean. We were there at 8:30pm, way past any supper rush. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our two charred hockey pucks. Please let that sink in. Over 45 minutes for a very small and not full place. We had asked for medium and medium well burgers. Mine was so hard and dry I worried about breaking a tooth. We even had to wait to get our bill and then were overcharged! We were staying near the airport overnight, without a car. This was our only option for a meal. Our waitress was very nice and apologized for the wait, but after a long day flying, a ridiculously long wait for burnt hamburgers, and then having to explain a few times how they overcharged us made this a horrible experience. Save yourself.
Nice atmosphere, TV's, and a decent bar. The burgers were good, they are fried on a griddle. The Queso Burger was smothered in queso, forcing me to eat it with a fork and knife. But still good
I am at Holiday Inn Indianapolis Airport Hotel weekly for work and I eat several times a week at Burger Theory located in the Hotel. The food is great, Shanda is excellent in tending to all of your needs and remembering returning guests likes and dis-likes. Highly recommend!!
The burger was absolutely delicious. I had the Lone Star Burger, medium rare, with a side of fries for under $10. The service was very professional and welcoming. All in all the best place in town, hands down, for quality food at a reasonable price at lunch!

Ramon took care of our business group of 42 people by himself over a weekend of meeting and food (set up for Friday evening - all day Saturday (helper served meals/picked up meals at dinner- Sunday am)! His energy was impressive. He was always smiling, very kind, and working very hard; if we requested anything he made sure we got it. He seemed to enjoy his position. I heard only positive feedback about not only Ramon, but about the food. I asked for a vegan meal - separate from what others received for the Saturday evening meal - and it was excellent. Members of our group came from Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. We really appreciated that members enjoyed the time spent in the hotel meeting room and dining room while being treated to very good food , service, and a pleasant and attentive server. All this only added to the positive atmosphere during our time spent here. Our thanks to the chef and Ramon!!!
