We went for a birthday, and the service was very accommodating and friendly. The AC was out and the staff was professional about it. I appreciated them letting us know before we were seated. Food was great and service was great!
The air conditioning was out in the kitchen, so some menu items were not available. The whole restaurant was hot, We went to celebrate a birthday which we noted on our reservation. The sever never me to the birthday. The server told us one of our entrees was prepared incorrectly and asked if we would accept something we didnât order.
The overall experience wasnât the best. Iâve been here before so I wasnât expecting it to be great like all of the previous times. However, they were extremely short staffed and we had made a reservation 3 days prior for a party of 16. They had one waiter serving 6 tables of big parties. We waited an hour and a half, almost 2 hours for the food. Had to ask multiple times for water. And then the food was finally delivered it was okay. However, it was not worth the price for paying for family style eating. Overall it was just sad for the lack of service, subpar food, high prices and extremely long wait.

It was cooler in the other part of the restaurant EXCEPT for the place we were seated! Very uncomfortable! Very disappointed in this place! Asked for bread but could only get it âwithâ our meal! Lasagna was not good at all! Will never go back here again! Should have left when we found out it only came in portions to feed 3 people not for 1!

We spent $150 for dinner for delivery and this was our experience. Calamari was RAW! Completely Transparent!!! If you work at an Italian restaurant and don't know how to cook calamari out of a frozen bag so it isn't raw, then management needs to make adjustments. The chicken limone was a tiny medallion (double the size of a chicken nugget from a fast food restaurant) with plain fettuccine Alfredo with NO lemon flavor, just a couple of cappers, chicken tasted reheated, and was so dry it had dust come out when we cut it. Spicy shrimp were the size of salad shrimp and were chewy. Our Itilian Cream Cake had half a tablespoon of raspberry topping for 2 slices of cake. Bread was completely stale. On the plus side, the salad was cold and had minimal toppings for delivery and the lasagna was good. I would have been better to spend the $150 at Fazolis with better tasting food, larger portions, and it would be fully cooked! I love Buca but this experience was a complete joke. I've had my Birthday there every 2 years and won't be back this September. I am so disappointed!!!

The atmosphere is very interesting. The pictures on the walls kept my kids amused and are definitely conversation starters. They take you through the kitchen before your seated so there is no wondering how clean it is. Virginia was our server and she was fantastic. She anticipated our needs and made sure we got everything we needed often times before we asked. The food was good and the servings large, even the children’s meals. We ordered the giant brownie dessert and 4 of us couldn’t quite finish it. The kids were very amused at the size of the dessert. It was great experience.
