A nice upscale Thai restaurant experience with a trendy vibe. However, be patient to wait as they do not take reservations. The cocktails were good, I had the Japanese highball. The service was quick and provided inputs on what to order and what not to order. The appetizers were delicious - especially the crab puffs and spring rolls. If you like a bit of heat, do order the chilly garlic sauce separately as a dip. Highly recommended place when in Indy.
Bodhi: Craft bar+ Thai bistro. The best Thai restaurant in the old black market space in Indianapolis. If you are planning to go please make sure you go an hour early during the peak hours as the place doesn’t accept reservations and it’s First come first serve basis. It is definitely worth the wait though. The host is very warm and welcoming and she will help you get the best table as early as possible. They have good collection of cocktails and draft beers. They give you drink, food suggestions and things to try if it's your first time there. For desserts they have different selection for everyday so you can ask them for the menu of that specific day and you must must must try them as the desserts come from a very famous bakery- Gallery pastry shop- Indianapolis. With a pleasant and soothing ambience, they have a beautiful patio great for the summer time if you're looking for delicious restaurants with patios. Thank you bodhi for wonderful experience. My order:Cocktails : The Emerald Buddha, Japanese handballSavory bites : Crab puffs, Spring rollNoodles : Veggie drunken noodlesCurry: Green curry and jasmin riceDessert : strawberry marshmallow cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Indianapolis, and one of my favorite Thai restaurants I’ve ever tried. The food is always fantastic, and the service is always great, too.
BODHI is a true gem, tucked away at the NE tip of Mass Ave.Truly, some of the best Thai food + drinks I’ve had in recent memory. Service was top-notch, vibe was next-level, and the food was truly delectable. We had the spring rolls, crab puffs, & laab salad to start, followed by the green curry & pad Thai as our mains.Every dish was balanced, inspired, and brought out fresh from kitchen. Can’t wait to come back.10/10, would recommend.
Bodhi was amazing. The food was beyond amazing, so much flavor, you can really tell the chefs put love into every dish. What really made the entire evening was the awesome service we received from our serve, Andrew! The best! Lovely conversation, great food recommendations, and an awesome attention to details. Go. Enjoy. and...Go AGAIN!
Amazing. I had the Float On, (a non-alcoholic drink), spring rolls, tofu pad Thai, and coconut cheesecake. With every item, I was floored. So delicious! And our server was awesome. He knew the menu thoroughly, offered great recommendations, and took great care of us.I will be going back at every opportunity.
Amazing meal, drinks and service at Bodhi. Highly recommend stopping in here but I would expect to wait during the weekends - can check your place in line on their website. Steak salad was amazing, Massaman curry with braised beef was spectacular and the drunken noodles were very good. All in all a must (re)visit. All the drinks were really good too
I’ve never had Thai food and I must say, they have set the bar extremely high. The atmosphere was phenomenal and the customer service was spot on. The Onion Martini was so classy and definitely my new fave. The experience was everything and I’ll definitely be back.
What a charming place and Indy is very lucky to have BODHI! Great food, very helpful staffs and cute and modern vibe! I love their cocktail selections and food was tasty and price was reasonable. They have lovely patio area too for outdoor sittings and can’t wait to visit there again when the weather gets warmer!
Great Good, Great Cocktails and staff was excellent!
