Yikes! I went here yesterday at 745. I didn't realize it was almost closing time and that the food would be subpar. We got 3 sandwiches and the bread was absolutely awful. It had to have been at least 48 hours old. Very hard ends and completely stale, COMPLETELY. Very disappointing since I think the sandwich could have been really good. If they are going to have extremely limited house, make sure the quality is good during those hours.
Three times this week I tried to eat here. Every time they were closed when they were supposed to be open. Nothing posted to the Facebook page about it. Just a paper note taped to the door. I tried their food once when it was delivered and it was just enough above mediocre that I wanted to give dine in a shot. Now they won't get another chance from me.
Tried Black Eye for the first time a few days ago and loved it! We tried the Black Out Bowl and and Umami Rice Bowl. The ramen was a bit too salty, but the rice bowl was perfect! My friend got her ramen pretty much instantly, but I had to wait a while longer for the rice bowl. Hope to try again soon!
I've only tried 2 of the ramen bowls so far but I loved both of them. Service was great and it didn't take long to get my orders together. I will definitely be coming back for more!
Love the decor! It's so refreshing to see an Indy business unafraid to be bold and steer away from the status quo bland walls with cheesy decorations. Definitely a step towards big-city attitude, which we need more of!
Noodles are prepackage saw them taken out of packet, eggs were awful, not enough broth and it was gross. The pork was over cooked All of it was super salty Customer service was bad, atmosphere even worse. Price point was high for quality.
