Holy smokes. The food was exceptional, the drinks were spot on. Service was very good. Make sure you are ample armed with your cash!!!! Not complaining, for this type of dinning you will have to pay!
Delicious! Just a huge rip off. If you want to pay double for half portions.. be my guest. And no, it’s not out of my price range, we go hard at restaurants. This place just left me feeling ripped off.
This place is inspired, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is fun. Great wine list. The mushrooms are next level. The wild boar pate is mouth watering. What a great restaurant.
I have been seeking out a spot that can provide something similar to what my wife and I experienced on the East coast as far as fine dining, and this place hit the spot. The oysters and scallops were a pleasant setup, and the the meso glazed sablefish hit me like a sick bass drop. The sherbert was incredible. I should not have had to look so hard to find this place.
The food here is never bad and with a menu that changes every few weeks there is no getting bored of this place.
Without fail, we always have a very, very fine dining experience here. Great cocktails and seafood, etc. but for me the really unique hidden gem here - the ice creams! Some of the most inventive and perfectly textured ice cream of all time. Most recently, the grilled banana flavor topped with parmesan was completely KILLER! Honestly, it’s what really motivated me to write a review. Everything else is amazing, too, but the ice cream is totally one-of-a-kind.
Still the OG best restaurant in town. Sometimes you look at the menu and it doesn’t seem too crazy. Other times I barely understand the ingredients. But EVERY time it blows me away. The flavor combos, the textures, the everything. Black trumpet MUSHROOM ice cream as our dessert? Cmon man. But guess what, it may have been the best thing we ate all meal.The menu is not for the unadventurous. If you just want a steak or chicken fingers, go elsewhere (even though if J Brooks made you either, they’d be the best you’d ever had). But if you are looking for a culinary experience like none other, you better check Beholder off your list.
Wonderful spot near downtown. Impeccable service, wine, and food. Something for everyone. Some experimental dishes from time to time that inspire. The cheddar ice cream was a fun experiment that provoked good discussion. Best wine list in Indy. This is a gem to find in Indy in 2021.
Omg to be in palate heaven from caviar to cheese plate to octopus to deserts...great above an beyond service an atmosphere I'll be back...
Delicious food and great drink recommendations! The staff was very experienced and overall had a wonderful dinner. The menu was incredible and very unique, you should definitely go check it out
