Best Barbecue for me in the world. I grew up eating it, so I don't compare it to any other! It's in my blood! I wish I knew how to cook it. I messed up a lot of Ribs trying to fix it! ?
Turkey Ribs were delicious. They said the cornbread was sweet but it was not. The sides were ok, the greens were extremely salty so I used the bland cornbread to balance the salt. I'll visit again for the turkey ribs.
Disappointed! Nothing worse than being hungry, with a craving for BBQ and go to this place. I'll start with the building. The place was so dirty it made me wonder if the board health ever inspects. It's dirty and in run down conditions. The food was plated so unappealing to the point I questioned what I had ordered. The chicken and ribs were seasoned okay but didn't eat well. Yhe robs were chewy. The baked beans were just plain pork n beans with sugar only and it was more sauce than beans. The macaroni salad was warm. Chain bbq restaurants will have to do when I want a quick BBQ dinner and I will stop with the assumption that these private places are the hidden gems of the cuisine. That was my last trip.
Food was dry. Very dry. No flavor. Lots of cartilage left in the rib tips. Very unpleasant experience. Do not recommend.
The greens were extremely salty. The corn muffin was dry. The macaroni needed help. The ingredients didn’t come together at all.
I've been looking for great bbq in Indianapolis, and I found it here. Had the ribs, very meaty, great smoke, and the hot sauce was pretty mild and a little sweet. The price was nice too. Dont plan on dining in, but there is an outdoor patio.
The customer service was awful today. The lady on the register was slow & non-attentive.As for today"s (5-16-22) rib tips, they were NOT fresh. Anyone that has ever eaten bbq knows tough & leftover bbq meat when they taste and can hardly chew it. I'm a regular at this restaurant, so I won't let this one bad experience stop me from frequenting this place (BBQ Heaven). HOWEVER, I will no longer go on a Monday----so that they can serve me meat that was obviously leftover from the weekend. I'M NO FOOL!!!
That was one amazing bar b q on a bun. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I want to try the ribs. I liked the mild heat, but should have tried the sweet. The cole slaw and pecan pie were amazing. A must have place to eat if you get a chance.
Great staff, good prices, large portions. The only bad thing was the sauce. Even the spicy sauce was too sugary I just couldn't get into the sauce. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side in case your experience was the same as mine.
RIBS HAVE NO MEAT THEY ARE NOT TENDER AND HAVE NO TASTE... RIB TIPS ARE WORTHLESS... THE SAUCE HAS NO TASTE... THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE... GREENS AND OTHER SIDES??THE WAIT FOR YOUR FOOD IS TOO LONG...CITY BBQ IS 4 TIMES BETTER THAN BBQ HEAVEN...I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CITY BBQ OR KING RIBS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TASTE, GOOD SAUCES... RIBS AND SIDES... AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
