I ate here a few years ago and could not remember how I felt about it, so I decided to revisit. While my first visit may not have been memorable, my second visit will make me a regular customer. We were seated right away on a Saturday and received the banchan and meat quickly. We were assisted by a few different servers which meant we never had to wait on them to help us. We did the unlimited deal for $34.99 per person and indeed, they refilled our side dishes and brought extra meat with no complaints. In fact they were almost surprised when we at first thought we were done eating. We had excellent customer service. Yes, they automatically add gratuity but this was not an issue to us because we always tip when we eat out anyway, and we are happy to support a local restaurant such as Bando.

Don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant where they just make their own prices up. Ordered the all you can eat and a water. Needed to split the bill, and the lady was up front for nearly 10 minutes with a calculator really calculating 2 orders. Comes back with a(I kid you not) yellow sticky note with some math on it. And then continued to explain to me that 34.99 +tax came to 38$ Plus an 18% gratuity of 7$.I did not know a restaurant had the power to do something like this when it was only one other person I was with. I have heard of bigger crowds and demand of gratuity. But in a small Korean Pendleton pike restaurant it’s outrageous. I must not be a huge Korean food junkie because I just did not seem to find the food that appetizing. The meat was okay. Service was sub par, took them atleast 20 minutes to help our table. It’s not that I’m cheap, I honestly would have tipped more if I hadn’t felt like I was OBLIGATED to do so. No where does it state anything about the up charges. It just sounds like straight false advertisement to offer a meal at 34.99. And somehow it comes out to 45.00 in the end. Just say it’s 45$Okay experience but will not be coming here again.EDIT: and you see how the owner responds. Place is a joke. Save your money, go elsewhere.

I went with a party of 7 and had a great meal! All the reviews saying they add gratuity and write your bill on a sticky note are true, but don't let that scare you. Just don't add your own tip, not a big deal. The all you can eat was delicious, and the waiters were very attentive with more meat, sides, water, and swapping out for clean grills. They don't explain what any of the sides are, but it's easy enough to figure it out. Also, at one point a lady came over and dumped all of our raw meat on top of the meat we were grilling. Maybe she didn't think we knew what we were doing. But regardless, everything was tasty. I do wish they had a larger variety of meats and add some seafood. As long as you go in with an open mind you will have an enjoyable experience :)

It was our first time visiting the BANDO restaurant. I ate Jjamppong (SEAFOOD NOODLE SOUP) because I like spicy food. And my wife ate Korean FULL DINNER. First of all, the jjambbong was so delicious that I ate it well. However, if you are Korean and know the real dinner set meal, we recommend a different menu. The number of meals in the set meal was less than expected, and it was all bulgogi and soup. I was also expecting side dishes such as fried fish. The price is high, but the food is delicious. My rate should be 4.5. Not five stars.

The food is good with a variety of common sides, but the service was absolutely horrible. I won’t be back specifically because of the service. The food would have been good enough to come back for but the service makes it a no for me. As seen below they stopped changing the plate, did not bring the requested straws until after multiple asks, but came back to the table to just look and not ask any questions. I do not recommend try somewhere else.UPDATE: it is not unlimited like stated on the menu and as seen on the receipt the charges were for a drink and a refill as well as 2 unlimited bbq meals. An extra charge was added at the bottom for an additional meat that should have been included in the “unlimited” meal option. Just not a good experience.

I love Bando and have been coming here for years! They are so sweet, the food is amazing, and it’s just a very cozy atmosphere. It’s a small operation, and they try to be as attentive as possible! Just be prepared because they are always busy - they do take reservations.Don’t listen to the negative reviews. I promise it’s because those folks didn’t read the menu or what was advertised closely. The unlimited BBQ is unlimited, but they state on the menu that they will charge you extra if you order more meat and don’t finish it. They also advertise that for BBQ, 2 or more people need to order.I’ve been to several Korean BBQ spots in other cities, and Bando continues to be my favorite!

Food was great and service was also good!

Great Korean BBQ! Food is great and place is nice!

Be warned that if you order @ this restaurant they say you can’t order unless you order 2 . This includes “ All you can eat BBQ “ @ 35 per order. Bring your wallets because this place will cost you. What looks good on the menu, be prepared to buy 2 or no food for you.

1/14/2022- MY KOREAN MAMA BROUGHT ME HERE! I was craving some delicious Korean food and I normally hit up a different location for my Korean fix. But my mom said this place recently changed management and that the flavors taste like your in Korea with an updated menu. She ordered us Jjamppong (spicy noodles with seafood) and Jjajangmyeon (black noodles) and it was so delicious and flavorful! Stop by and have yourself a Korean treat! You won't regret it!
