We had a reservation for 23 people including 11 kids/babies. This was by far the best group breakfast experience we’ve had! Our waiter and waitress were phenomenal, so attentive and kind. They brought out fruit and cracker for the kids while we waited for our food. Everything came out hot and at the same time. We were just passing through on vacation, but man if we could give more than 5 stars we definitely would!
This place has phenomenal breakfast and so much to choose from, the staff was very impromptu considering the house was packed!
This was my first visit. The waitress greeted me at the door, she was courteous and seated us immediately. I gave a generous tip. The food however was a different story. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. The sauerkraut was horrible tasting. It looked limp and old and it tasted bitter. I couldn't even eat the second half of the sandwich. I thought it would be a place I'd love to return to. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area. But when the food doesn't taste good I just can't return.
I really like from this place, the classic art's skillet dish with it's tasty french toast on the side and gotta have the gravy sausage with it, love the tasty coffee here and good sweet tea & orange juice is served here as well, the staff are quite friendly and polite and food prices are very reasonable.
How can I not already have a review of this gem?! We LOVE Art's! (Well, technically we love this one, on Pendleton Pike. The one on Washington was not as good). They have one of the best pancakes in Indy. The menu is loaded with options. Scrambles, skillets, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and more!!! It's always been busy, but we never had to wait long. Lots of seating, mostly tables (inside and out), and lots of people picking up carry-out. The servers are very friendly (but the English isn't always very clear) and fast. Lots of people seem to be regulars.
The omelet and pita were good. Hashbrowns could've been cooked a bit longer. The omelet was wet and could've been cooked a touch longer as well. The biscuits were hard as bricks. The picture does not suffice. they rushed them or redropped them, I know I called order in, wait 30 minutes to go up there and still wait 10-15 minutes.
Great food for the price. It was really packed when we went so the wait was a tad long. When we got a seat we got our food really quick though even with it busy. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast if you are in the area.
nice cozy restaurant very clean. friendly server, quick too get your food out. the food is so so good!! definitely will go again if in the area. don't skip on trying this place!
I must say the Chicken and waffles are a rare gem at Art’s. Each piece is crispy and delicious. I highly recommend Art’s skillet for a amazing breakfast
