i just spend $70 on food only for 4 ppl !!! they dont do meals anymore you to buy everything separate now !!i been eating there 20 years my family n i will longer eat there anymore
The food was great! The staff are wondrous and so very welcoming and friendly!
Food tasted average. Prices were on the high end for what you got. Ignore the prices listed on Google. They raised them significantly and google prices must be from years ago.
Amazing food with a unbeatable price! Super fast great service, if your in the area I highly recommend stopping here if your hungry!
This is one of my favorite roast beef places. I had the roast beef deluxe meal with medium fries and medium green river drink. I really like their fries and green river! The meal cost 10 dollars but is worth it! Also you can get cheese and peppers on your sandwich. I am going back for sure because I've been there before many times
I absolutely love this place. Best roast beef but mostly the sweet attentive staff. I love them. They deserve huge raises!
Great customer service very friendly and very fast food was okay mediocre at best I have a hard time wrapping my head around spending just shy of $36 on three sandwiches with fries with no drinks $12 a sandwich is a little high literally my ticket was $35 and some change so almost $12 each just very disappointing with the prices compared to the quality of food and sizes I thought the sub would be at least 8 in seem more like a 6-in bun. I will probably eat there again just cannot be on a regular basis for those kind of prices
The first thing I want to say is the guy at the desk was the epitome of customer service. Very cordial and patient. The food was good, but that's not why the 3 stars. I mean, the chili cheese dogs were eaten by the people that ordered them without complaint. Also, the fries were hot and fresh, but just crinkly with not much flavor. The problem comes with the 2 polishes I ordered. I'm a Chicago guy living here for the last decade and I'm still not familiar with all the places around me. I'd had the Roast Beef at Zel's before and it ain't nothing compared to a Chi-Town Italian Beef! That brings me to the problem with the polishes. I asked if I could have them Chicago-Style and Maxwell Street, which other local places like Saul's in East Chicago does very well. Not only did they put some random shredded onions, relish and tomatoes on my dogs... BUT KETCHUP TOO!!! I really wanted to stop and drive back but again the guy was very nice. I've just decided to not go back unless I've got a taste for regular roast beef, bland fries and sacrilege on a bun!
The ladies there were amazing. Food was fresh and hot and will definitely be traveling back to get more in the future.
I love coming here. The customer service is great, the food is great and the parking area is clean. Sometimes there is a line but it's worth waiting cause the food is great
