This Courtyard is terribly under-staffed. Per a staff member, The Bistro is permanently closed. And based on the 2 page list of rules that guests must sign-off on before allowed to check-in and the heavy Hammond, IN police presence, this is now a "party" hotel.

Great service excellent food

I booked this hotel online during our drive from Denver to Boston. Received confirmation e-mail for reservation. Received a second e-mail saying our reservation was moved to the adjacent Fairfield Inn. This hotel is still closed. Checked in at the Fairfield first room had such a strong mold odor we requested a room change. Second room had a smoke smell. We checked out and went to the Hampton Inn across the street. Very disappointed with Marriott to lead us to believe we were staying at the Courtyard.

Awesome service awesome food

Love it! Great service and great food!

Their catfish is outstanding, especially the spicy version!!

Price was high but the food was worth it.

We recognized as members of the Marriott Bonvoy and assigned an excellent, clean room. Although the facility is adjacent to the expressway, we heard no traffic noise. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, including helping us with luggage. The location is easy off/easy on for the expressway.

My husband and I had another great stay @ this Courtyard hotel (conveniently located off of I-80 @ Exit 3, Kennedy Avenue). We had a spacious suite with a large balcony. We enjoyed some of the coffee drinks & dinner options @ their Bistro. To the Hotel Manager: Please consider upgrading the furniture inside your suites. They were very uncomfortable. And for the prices you charge for the suites, the furniture should be a lot more comfortable.

We were staying over the weekend because we were playing in a poker tournament at the Horseshoe. When we arrived we were checked into a dirty room. There was food on the desk, towels on the bathroom floor and the bed had been slept in. Outside the entrance door on the side of the hotel the trash can was overflowing with garbage. Also there was a police officer roaming the parking lot harassing everyone that pulled into the parking lot. We went outside to retrieve our luggage after check in and the officer shined the lights in our eyes and questioned us. He also wrote down our license plate and continued to run our plates for no reason. Once we entered the room, the ceiling was peeling, around the bedroom window was so bad it looked as if it may fall out into the parking lot soon, it was in such bad shape. This was one of the worst maintained Marriott's I ever stayed in and I will never go back and would never recommend this property. We packed up and left at midnight during our first night and headed home in a rain storm instead of staying another night. As we left the police officer followed us out of the parking lot until we turned off on the highway. What a nightmare!!
