Tasty chicken. Wonder the reason they won't serve a chicken sandwich. Maybe it's too much work to actually handbread a piece of chicken and deep fry it for a long time? No other chain is out of chicken breasts. Last time I was there I waited 39 minutes in line at the drive-through with only 4 cars ahead of me.
Either they are short staff, or they don't have chicken. This time, they didn't have any drinks, red beans and rice was frozen, no honey, no sauces.....manager stood in front of store with two other employees on a smoke break while one employee ran the front counter and drive through. There was another young lady there, but she couldn't clock in until 530....manager walked in the door and seen the long line, grabbed a drawer, and went to the back! AVOID THIS location.....it's super ghetto!
0/10 do not recommend, 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for something to waste your time. Won’t let me post without clicking a star though. First of all, sign says “drive thru open”.. drive thru is not, in fact, open. There’s a hand-written sign on lined paper that says, “lobby only open due to short-staffed. Sorry.” Then, you go in the lobby, wait 10 minutes without even being acknowledged, only to be told they only have spicy chicken and no fries. Such a waste of time. And it’s really frustrating because I love Popeyes but they all are terrible around here and never have any chicken. I just don’t understand. Close for a while and get yourselves together rather than having such terrible service and making a bad name for yourselves.
I came to this location because the one on ridge road is completely useless. and this location is usually pretty good but today i ordered a 12 pc meal the sides were French fries they said it was going to be a 25 minute wait on chicken i said that was fine i was going to run a errand and be right back when i returned the cashier said they were out of French fries did i want a different side i said no i would just take the chicken and get a refund for the fries. she then told me the manager went to the bathroom and i would have to wait after waiting a few minutes i noticed the manager sitting in the dining room so i went to her and asked for the refund for the fries she was extremely nice and said that they did have fries she would go drop them for me so i waited a total of 35 minutes and they did actually have fries not sure why they said they were out in the first place. I got home and looked at the chicken and out of 12 pcs of chicken there was only 1 breast 2 wings and the rest were thighs I'm pretty sure that's not what comes in a 12pc so over all i was pretty dissatisfied although I want to say the manager was very nice. so 5 stars for the manager 2 for the cashier boxing the food.
Is bad when you only got two employers working there the manager and the cook. They try to do their best I'm on them too. They need help there at that location I appreciate it if the Popeye organization please send them some help and not just anyone to come there and to judge them for trying so hard.
How are you out of sweet tea? The door clearly states inside open (door remain locked! When you knock on the door the staff just looks at you you you have 4 heads!) Really? Then you if you decide (My stupid a$$ did because “I Love my husband”) for 40 minutes in the drive through! OMG! And again NO sweet TEA! The chicken was so so. Next time. I’ll go somewhere else!
No sides except fries, chicken was old and cold. DRIVE THROUGH LINE WAS SLOW AND SPILLING IN THE STREETS. Cashier was pleasant and apologetic. No honey for the biscuits. Will not be going back ever!!!
First of all the food is great.BUT - at this location they're ALWAYS out of like EVERYTHING. Never have the chicken you want. You want mild, all they have is spicy. Or vise versa. Or no dark meat. No Mac and cheese. Every time I ask for sweet tea they are out. For literal months. Out of about 10 times over the past few months, they've had chicken sandwiches twice. All the other times they've said they were defrosting. And I eat there between 12pm~1:30 when I go. Prime lunch hour. Also the wait is HORRIBLE. Last week I decided to wait it out and commit, and I waited in the drive thru for *thirty-six* minutes before my order was taken. Then another day I waited *twenty-five* minutes in the drive thru. This is with, I kid you not, FOUR cars in front of me. Only 4.That being said, when you get your order after the wait and after ordering not really what you wanted but the best you can get, then the food is good and hot and fresh and juicy and I'm generally happy with it. Except when they don't have ice for your drink.I don't know why I wait so long. It's close to my work but I could probably do the 20 minute drive to and from another location and get my food and be back to work before this location would even take my order in the drive thru.
Ordered 8 chicken sandwiches, I was told to wait in a parking space for 15 minutes and they would bring them to my car. 40 minutes passed until I got back on the drive through and told them what happened to my order. Turns out they didn't even start making the order. I got my order a full hour after I ordered with a couple of "sorrys" that I could care less about.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The long wait time was expected, since the Pandemic began, it's the norm. However, when I placed my order ... First, they were out of a few items, then, the girl taking orders refused to take my order for just wings, because they might run out. She was rude and tried to excuse her tone of voice on the fact that she is new. Working customer service for many years ... It's probably not a good idea to allow someone to interact with the public until they are ready. Finally, after almost 90 minutes I received my order ... And it was wrong. Do better Popeyes. Train your workers. Make it right.
