Just went to the Hammond location. It has always been my least favorite. This time, they went overboard! My stuffed steak turned out to be regular steak tacos w/cheese in between the tortillas. When we called to tell them about it, the woman argued that they were made the way they were supposed to be. There were no sautéed onions, just two dry tacos. We ordered 2 stuffed nachos and a beef nacho grand platter... all of which come with guacamole. Yet there was not a drop of guacamole to be found. $53 & a lunch break wasted!
Service and food was outstanding. The fish tacos were some of the best fish tacos I have eaten in a long time. ? I asked for a spicier salsa, it was free along with jalapeños and Pico de Gallo. Just ask for the hotter salsa options. Pico de Gallo was amazing too.Mexicana tacos and enchiladas are the way to go. They use a Mexican white cheese instead of the typical cheddar cheese. Ask for Mexicana style if you like a white cheese instead of cheddar melted on your food.
They've been @this location going back to when I was a kid living behind there in the Kenwood Apartments in the late 80's ?There's a reason. The service is top notch, even when compared to other locations.Another Region Staple when so many are going away .Love PePe's
My wife ordered the burrito suiza, along with tacos for the family. The food is ALWAYS fresh and tasty and we've never gotten a meal from this location that had anything missing from our order. Fantastic location.
Always get their soft shell beef tacos. I really like their salsa.

I love this place is really close to my job I visit constantly the food is great the drinks are wonderful my favorite is a frozen margaritas of different flavors the environment is great and the waitresses the staff have great customer service they're all very nice there's music I love the place prices are decent
The food is not good everything tastes the same they microwave there food and the prices are way up there like they make authentic tacos or tamales terrible don’t eat here
Food is ok. Big change from years ago. It's decent, but don't have that Fresh taste, like it use to. The salsa is a tomato soup like. The service is good. Now the fajitas are Fresh Fresh. So maybe if you're ordering some Hot off the fire - you will satisfied. Just my opinion. It will be a while when I return. Maybe, for drinks at the bar with my girls. But they gotta present a better Salsa.
