Nothing good to say. It was very pricey and poor quality. The good didn't have good flavor. There was reasons why we couldn't have this or that and the waitress wasn't very attentive. The tables were dirty feeling and you could see a film on them. We sat by a window which had small pieces of what looked to be old meat in the corners and very dusty. The restrooms were dirty as well.
Authentic Mexican food.. delicious... nice place
2nd time here... I was very excited to have the food again BUT, my 2 tostada dinner came out wrong... And took FOREVER to come out.(Mind you, there were only 3 full tables at this time, not a full house at all.)The wonderful waitress asked if I wanted a fresh and fixed order, but I politely declined and went to eat the meal, as is.I didn't want to wait any longer to eat.A couple minutes later, she brought out 1 tostada that was made to my original request. While I'm appreciative that the waitress attempted the amends... This is the 2nd time it's happened to me and this has happened quite a few times to may close friends. The staff is great... But a faulty cook can bring an establishment down really quick.
We went there and had chilaquiles and carne a su jugo and it was delicious! Really recommend it
This wonderful hidden place may get overlooked frequently except by those that know it. I had the 7fish soup. Which is a delicious hispanic version of San Franciso's Cioppino. The atmosphere was delightful as was the strolling guitarist that played. We will be back.
My meat was burnt on my taco salad. I'm try them again hopefully I can update for better review.
Visited twice now and both times disappointed. The food is genuinely very disgusting, the steak was bland and fatty with very little meat. The tortillas were soggy. Would avoid, there's lots of better Mexican places around.
I'll start by saying they do some things very well, the table salsa is very nice with a good kick and their barbacoa tacos are excellent. I've been here twice and the first time i thought it was just ok but my most recent visit was a bit of a disaster. About 1/3 of the chips they gave us were soaked in oil, soggy and chewy. My wife ordered one barbacoa, one shrimp and one fish taco, both the shrimp and the fish were breaded and cold. I don't know if they were left over from earlier but they were at least cooked through. I had steak tacos that were tasty but underfilled. They served us water in styrofoam cups which if they were busier I would have understood. The decor is almost right but the lighting seems a bit off. I think this could be a great place if they stuck to the things they did well and made some minor tweeks. I won't be returning unless they change management and or practices. I can't recommend it when there is such a wealth of good Mexican food in the area.
The person who took the order and served us was so nice. We tried mexican gorditas and they were so so delicious.
Outstanding food! Had a great first time and will be back to taste other menu items!
