Wow. Simply the best fish fry in the region. I tried the Captains platter for $20, and it was awesome.. Shrimp, Scallops, Perch, a whole Catfish, and two Frog Legs w fries, cole slaw, macaroni salad, and a buttered roll... enough for two people for sure..I never had frog legs before, and was surprised how much I liked them. They give you lots of sauce for everything, and were super friendly. I got it to go, but you can dine inside til 9. There's a bar up front that was rockin the two Fridays I ordered from them. Oh, and they're super quick as well...
Had the sunday lamb...very good and decent portion.
Food and service was very good; however, it was tough passing through the smokey bar to get to the dining room.

Hessville wouldn’t be the same without this bit of nostalgia. Have been coming to Chuck & Irene’s for what seems like forever. The fish dinners on fridays are the best. The homemade coleslaw and macaroni salad really compliment the meal. Have never been disappointed in the food or the wonderful service.

Very rude I called to ask if I can order food and I got told ...we are going to be closing the kitchen soon... so as I was about to say thanks they hung up on me your employees need to get a course on respect
