Worst costumer service. I ordered wrong item online and later realized. I called at the restaurant and they said sorry we can’t do anything, rood is already made. No courtesy to accommodate costumers request. Will never order again from this place. Very unhappy.
First time to visit. We had good hot food at a reasonable price. We are not experts with Indian Cuisine but this is our favorite of three places we have tried, two in Castleton area. It was not crowded on a Friday night, quiet atmosphere we appreciated. The menu described what was in each dish, thank you.
Food is awesome! Everytime I visit here. I find the owner to be quite pleasant and friendly. I wonder if some of the negative reviews are maybe from a competitor?I highly recommend the lunch special.
Worst food ever.. yesterday I ordered aalo paratha,panner paratha.and onion kulcha. In aalo paratha there was no potato, was only only grounded species(cumin and garam masala and salt.) I think cook don't know anything about aalo paratha. And next panner paratha same stuff(cumin and garam masala and of course salt. Panner was missing. I think they should google recipe for parathas if they don't know how to make it. And last was onion kulcha. That was fine, because that was frozen stuff. So how they serve the food.
We gave been going to Swagat for about 4 months now. Quality and value for money is definitely WORSE than before. Tandoori quality is still high, but all portions are getting smaller. Yesterday we ordered the kheer rice pudding and received undercooked rice in a watery liquid with one raisin, and no pistachios or almonds in either portion. It was NOT pudding and not the same consistency as before. Please pay attention to the small things or you won't get our business anymore.
This place has potential but it's disappointing everytime you go. They do the tandoor items second to none but when it comes to other indian dishes n specially biryani they fall flat. They need to work on other aspects of indian cuisines specially samosa, biriyani and curries. Hopefully next time they do better. Only positive i found in 2-3 visit is Tandoori Items.

Amazing food and service ! We came here to visit and our relatives brought here! Such a welcoming environment and food is amazing !!!! If you haven’t try their fish Pakora ! A must try!
I’ve been here a couple times and have had nothing but a positive experience. Staff is all very kind, food is just divine. They are always quick but also make sure you are taken care of. Will keep coming back!
Picked up a carry out for the first time tonight, it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and made to order. Will definitely be back!Sidenote: They have tendies, they’re just called Chicken Pakora, also absolutely incredible.
