I have been coming to Pho Lai for years. It is definitely one of those rare golden gems of a place!The building is rather clean, the staff have always been very friendly, and our food is almost always ready faster than they quote!The building is easy to get to, has ample parking, and the lot is easy to get out of without having to wait for traffic to clear, even during rush hour.I know I mentioned it earlier, but the folks who run Pho Lai are always so nice and willing to help, even when I want to try something new and don't know what I'm in the mood for.
Decided to stop for pho as we were driving through Indianapolis and this was the only one not out of the way. It’s a hole-in-the-wall mom n’ pop without any frills, but as all the other reviews said, it’s absolutely delicious. We took everyone’s recommendation on the combo pho (#30) and weren’t disappointed. You won’t be either!
False advertising, their food is horrible and their bathroom was so filthy we did not let the kids use it. The operators are Burmese not Vietnamese. After looking at the reviews more closely some of the people giving the reviews have given hundreds of reviews with 5 stars....total lies. We are reaching out to the health department. I don't know how they are still in business.
#30 is amazing as well as the stir fry chicken and chicken lol mein. The staff were polite and efficient. Highly recommend.
Do not waste your money. This restaurant is filthy. The food is very bland and old. The steak in the pho soup looked and tasted old. The restroom was filthy to the point that the kids didn’t even use it.

We had the the pho steak and pho with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Delicious!We’ll be back!Don’t miss out on the egg rolls!
I have visited quite a few Vietnamese restaurants and I can assure you that this is not one of them, the pho is simply not their specialty and it is very bad, the service is also bad ....
