I would not recommend this for one overwhelming reason- dry chickenI ordered chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, chicken on a stick... Every single piece - dry. There wasn't enough sauce to rehydrate it or make it taste good.My sister did like it, so that's why I gave it 2 stars...I will say that the people working are incredibly sweet!
First time ordering from here, normally order from China Dragon on Countyline road but they are closed on Mondays. Heard good things about this place but disappointed. I get sweet n sour chicken with plain lo mein. The lo mein was literally just plain spaghetti noodles with a splash of sauce. The portions are smaller than China dragon for the same price roughly. The other two meal I ordered were the same. I ll just wait to Tuesday before reordering from here
Been coming here every since I've been in Indiana. Best quality Chinese food in Greenwood, hands down, and top 5 I've ever had. Quality food, order is never missing anything, and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Worst Chinese food we have ever eaten. Will never eat here again. Just wasted $25, I doubt that was real chicken.
This is my 3rd day in a row eating here.. this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. I am very impressed with the quality of the veg they use as well as the meat... You can just tell they use a much high grade of food then typical Chinese food place...I am also very impressed with how well I am treated while I am there, both owners really do a good job at making sure I have everything I needed, and made sure I feel appreciated when I come in.. I will now only eat from here for now for Chinese food!
Best Chinese! Nice portions and the chicken fried rice has a huge amount of chicken!! Love the General Tofu too!
My number 1 goto place, family owners for years. Bourbon chicken with extra cabbage is my go to but if you want the best hot n sour soup and home made egg rolls .. Ask for the spicy mustard and red sauce to dip. Enjoy!
Loved going here as I was growing up and into my 30s. I’ve began to call at 7:25 at night they close at eight and would not pick up their phone for a to go order if they would like to go home earlier I suggest that they make their closing hours at seven versus 8 o’clock if they are going to ignore customers. Their food has always been fresh hot and delicious but I’m beginning to think their service is lacking still sent my husband up there to see if they would serve him food before 8 pm.
While there is zero ambiance at Egg Roll Number One, you can't beat them for taste and value...large portions of good food for reasonable prices.
I have been searching for some good Chinese food since I have moved to Indiana last year. I am so EXCITED that my search has come to an end!!! This place made my day!!! The man who took my order was very nice and friendly and got the order correct!!! The food portions were a nice size for a decent price and everything was seasoned just right!!! The food hit everyone's just right spot!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this little gem tucked away in a little strip mall.
