Delicious chicken fried perfectly every time. I always get mild sauce and lemon pepper on mine. Also I have them fry it hard.....omg???
I’m convinced everyone there has a 4th grade education. After having 20 minutes of my time wasted at the window waiting on the cashier, she cuts me off mid-sentence to say their on a hour wait. Poor customer service doesn’t even do justice! I wouldn’t trust them near my food so I left before I got arrested. The last time I actually received food from them it was cold and was not made as requested. It needs to be shut down and do a re-vamp or something! PLEASE

Extensive wait times, prices does not qualify for their quality of food, hair found in my food that I waited over 30 minutes for, horrible customer service. I was very disappointed and due to the type of service received, I will Never go there ever Again!
Why do it always have to be our people that have unprofessional customer service they don't want you to say nothing negative but yet they leave you sitting on hold for a long time without coming back to the phone. Are people always get upset when you tell the truth and speak facts they just wanted to remain hidden that the customer service is bad.
Went and bought 2 6 piece wings. Ask for sauce on my fries and lemon pepper over everything. They do your food the way they want to. My chicken wasn't fried hard enough. And the little sauce they put on your food is nothing. I will not be returning to Harold's anymore. I give them 2 1/2 stars
I know Harold's on Grant St has been in business a long while and I am glad they have stayed in Gary, honestly. What I do not understand is the length of wait time in all these years has not improved. But what I feel is that something is getting lost in communication or organization or something. I have gone to two food establishments with good food and the same problem always exist, long wait times, underwhelming customer service and a blatant disregard for the time and money that people decide to spend at these establishments. We want the money but we aren't putting forth the work ethic needed to be successful on all fronts. Like the JJ's and at times Sharks. I pray for Harold's doors to stay open and continue to serve the community. But I also pray that they step their game up, and find a solution to these long wait times, and customer service improvement needs.

Pretty awesome! Ver orderly operation. I usually call in my order and there's a guy by the name of Ed, who is super friendly. I usually get the 4pc lunch special which is always hot and fresh.
