Not a very good customer service at USPS Houston. They like to argue with their customers and are working extremely slowly with a huge line. I had to wait over 20 minutes before I was able to get to the counter. They are good people but need more train. It was also extremely hot inside. The air conditioner was not working properly.
I love getting to make 5-star reviews! But, it's unheard of to write one for anything related to the government ... until now.The staff at the Hazelwood location is consistently helpful and friendly. I've had numerous incidents where a piece of mail went missing, or was sent to a prior address, and they went above and beyond to help track down my items. They were also very helpful when I moved to Fort Wayne from out-of-town, in getting my PO Box set up where there were some issues with the USPS box reservation system.
Joke of a place employees are the laziest I have seen. Showed up 15 minutes early to my appt and they said oh yea we will help you in 15 minutes, the lobby was empty. No wonder they are losing money daily.
This post office is horrible. They don't pick up my mail. They leave the lid open on mailbox and the rain gets the mail all wet. I have called several times.Every time on hold for over an hour. I even talked to the mail girl the one day in her truck.I told her the mail is not getting picked up.
Made an appointment for passports for 2 adults and 2 kids....I was so impressed with how quickly we were in and out. A lady with red hair helped us and was very pleasant and efficient! Highly recommend for Passports!
Very friendly and helpful staff. I needed to buy an envelope and a stamp and they saved me money by recommending an envelope with the stamp already on it.
I shipped something from this USPS location vi 2 day shipping on Dec 4. Today, two weeks later, the package still hasn’t arrived to its destination and has apparently been in Indiana the entire time. I’m not sure what is going on at this location but I would avoid it.
I had one of their customers service reps, I believe her name was Catherine, come to my house after speaking to me on the phone earlier in thr day regarding a delivery issue I had had. I resolved the delivery issue, something was suddenly wrong with my mail box despite it being fine a month prior, and was told I would speak to my mail carrier about the issue when the package was delivered as they were the one who deemed it unfit for delivery. But the mail carrier didn't stop to speak with me, and later a maskless (this is the Covid era, man) Cathy here shows up at my house unannounced. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from the USPS and unacceptable behavior from that particular customer service rep. I just moved to this area almost 3 or so months ago and Id never had problems with my previous post office. I'm truly disappointed in my post office :(
Just wanted to provide a PSA for anyone thinking about going to this post office for a passport. Please do yourself a favor and don't! The postal employee, older with red hair, was the absolute worst. Zero people skills let alone customer service skills. We did not get our passports processed (partially our fault) but oh my, the rudeness was over-the-top! I have never written a review but felt compelled to (potentially) help someone else avoid the treatment we were subjected to at this location by this particular employee. Luckily, we were able to get our passport applications in the same day at the court house. The clerk at the court house was informative, professional and made it a great experience.
I always get the pink slips that I owe postage, but the lobby is never open at times that I am available to go because of “staffing issues”. How am I supposed to get my letters?? And then when I finally have a day off that I can go they’ve sent the letter back by then. Very annoying for someone who works full time as well as going to school.
