A nice cozy little restaurant. The evening I went, they were packed to the brim and while they were understaffed, the staff that was there was amazing. Super friendly, and understanding. I cannot recommend this place enough. But I should want any prospective customers to be prepared for a wait. They're only open for a few hours most evenings, and because of their popularity, it almost certainly requires a reservation.

Obviously this is the place to go for great Italian food. Went here for the first time a few months ago... I know, what took so long, right? Returned last night with some friends and my parents. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and though everyone was full we all ended up ordering dessert anyway!I had the scallop and mushroom pasta but I dug in too fast to get a picture, sorry... :) This was a bowl of pasta with a lightly seasoned olive oil sauce, small (Calico?) scallops, and mushrooms. I didn't expect the bite-sized scallops, but they were appropriate to the serving in the bowl as they didn't need to be cut up. There was just enough sauce to be able to sop up the rest of it from the bottom of the bowl with a couple more pieces of the fresh homemade bread.I was cajoled into ordering dessert, so I got the cannolis and this time I took a picture before I stuffed them in my face, lol! One order is two small cannolis, about 5 inches long. The shell was a little thick with a good crunch and the cream inside was a lot heavier than I expected, but not too heavy. The other dishes and desserts which everyone else had and enjoyed included the veal parm, chicken parm, chicken almondine, fruit flambe, lemon cake, and cappuccino gelato.

We loved it!!! Awesome lil italian eatery! We had lasagne and love the flavor. Definitely need to give them a try if you're hungry for good Italian!

I was a little disappointed this time. I had a very bland pasta with Olive oil and garlic. I added sausage which was the best part of the meal. Our artichoke dip appetizer was good and cheesy. The rolls with garlic butter were just ok. We felt forgotten a few times. Our drinks were never refilled. We were never offered dessert.

Food is mediocre at best. I have dined at this restaurant several times all of which have been disappointing. The city of Fort Wayne is in dire need of a decent Italian restaurant. House salad was soggy lettuce with a sweet coleslaw type dressing, yuck! The aging owner fashions himself as quite the entertainer. Loud speaker system with horrible disco lights blinking at a pace that will throw the healthiest folks into seizures. Forget having ANY conversation with your dining companions!

We throughly enjoyed ourselves! Loved all the history depicted throughout the place. We had a party of 10. A cozy little place. Lacy & Nicole were great servers! Alex Fiato the owner came out and sang for my birthday. My grandson loved the bubbles & lights. The food was authentic and amazing!!! Definitely a wonderful experience! Forgot to take a picture of all the wonderful food, but got one of a single meatball. LOL!

First things first, aesthetically speaking, absolutely adorable. It feels like going into my Italian grandpa's wine cellar/hideaway. We had a large group and were sat at the party table, placed in the loft of the restaurant. Cozy, for sure, although, it is quite dim lit, in the room we were sat in, almost dark. I hesitate to mention that there are photos of Donald Trump on the wall, which was off-putting to our group. Our server, Michelle, was very sweet & attentive, great service. Now, on to the food. The noodles are handmade delights. Perfect texture, not too soft, not too firm. The sauces were very disappointing, along with the lousy, soggy bread, and lackluster salad. If you like sauce very basically flavored, you may find it to suit you. Another thing it pains me to mention; the pepper dispensers/shakers really needed to be cleaned, they were all terribly filthy. I'll likely give them another try (if someone else is paying). I do think we should all continue supporting local restaurants.

Nothing special on the outside, it is pure New York Italian once you step inside. The photos on the wall, the attentive service and the friendliness of Alex, the proprietor, are in the authentic Old Family Italian tradition. But the food is the real star here. The meatballs are very good. The Veal Parmesan is better yet. The Fettucine Antonio is one of the best Italian Pasta dishes that I have ever had. And the prices are very reasonable. If I lived in Fort Wayne I would come here at least once a month.

Small romantic candle lit restaurant with a great atmosphere. The waitress was personal and the food was fairly quick. You can certainly tell the noodles were homemade and fresh. The wine reccomend was paired wonderfully. The portions appeared to be smaller but was enough to fill us up. The prefer you make a reservation here.

First time here and couldn't be more disappointed. The salad you get with your meal is a tiny plate of romaine with a couple croutons and dressed with a boring vinegarette. No veggies or cheese. I had the seafood gnocchi and my husband had the fettuccine antonio. Both meals were so small and flavorless. My gnocchi was in a thin white soup that I think was supposed to be a cream sauce. This is not Italian food. We have vacationed in Rome and Venice and this is not what Italian should be. The restaurant was very dimly lit with cheesy stereotypical Italian music. We were recommended to come here and the reviews sounded great, but for the price, quality, and quantity, we won't be coming back.
