THE BEST TACO PLACE IN FORT WAYNE!!!We are regular customers here. The tacos are soooo good.Don’t even get me started on their queso, it’s the best I’ve ever had.Just make sure when you order tacos, if you want flour tortillas make sure you tell them!! They usually give you corn by default. So if you don’t like corn tortillas make sure you tell them which ones you want. The horchata is soooo yummy too!The only negative I have is their fried ice cream isnt that good, but every thing is BEYOND amazing!!
I've been looking for an authentic Mexican burrito place since moving out of Chicago. This is it! Atmosphere and the food are outstanding, plus the Verde sauce is a must.
Ordered take out. Ordered steak street tacos and queso with chips. They were hot and fresh. Steak was tender, and had really good flavor. Corn tortillas were good, fresh and not stale. Topped with fresh cilantro and onions. Refried beans were good and so was the rice. Only downside was the lime slices were a little dry and there were only 2 for 3 tacos. Otherwise absolutely delicious street tacos.
Excellent food, very good prices and fast, if less than cheerful service. You don’t expect a taqueria to have a ton of atmosphere but this place does. The menu is prolific - sure for there to be something for someone, but still simple and easy to navigate. I loved the carnitas and the chicken was very good also. Burrito was huge, well made and delicious, with the right balance of ingredients. Kids meals were cheap and yummy and the tacos were delicious, simply dressed with cilantro and onion although you could dress them up as well. Excellent meat choices.
Tacos are always delicious and fresh. I do wish the containers of salsa were bigger and that the limes weren't always so dry. Luckily I keep some at home. Overall, I love their food.
Every time I have tried to place a carry out order over the phone, I was always placed on hold and never got back too. I was placed on hold for 11 minutes the last time. I was fine with it because I knew they were dealing with a customer. But the other 9 minutes were just the coworkers shooting the breeze and talking about their personal lives. I hope the owner knows he is paying his employees to be working welfare check recipients while costing his business good money. I wish I could find a job where I get paid to socialize with my coworkers.
Worse tacos I ever had went to this restaurant because family recommended I’ll stick with los lamos !!
I'm so in love it's now become an addiction. I won't spend my money anywhere else. Absolutely beautiful people fun environment and my granddaughter just love the beautiful table settings and pictures. The best part about this restaurant no long wait times for food your receiving your food under 15 from order to table.
Amazing food! Amazing service! We had a great experience with a ton of food and left overs! Our kids got rice and beans in their kids meals and they hated it but it was great because it meant extra treats for mom and dad! Winning! You guys are excellent.
Kind of confusing when you first go in because the grill is right practically in front of the door. So u have to walk further down to the register to order. Definitely "real" Mexican food. I love it! I was afraid of the name "The famous Taco " it was going to be Americanized ?? But it wasn't. I had a couple tacos de Carne asada & tacos de pastor. All of course with salsa Verde & Limon. Absolutely yummy? . Walking in was like walking into a place that has alot of regulars & so when u walk in u get looked at. But I hard to figure out. I look like a white lady but I look kind of Mexican too. I spoke Spanish but u could tell it isn't my first language. But the lady who took my order was very nice & I didn't have to wait long. I'm new to Fort Wayne so I was looking for a place like this that has authentic ? tacos and omg im trying the birria next ?
