The food was good, but it took 20min to get a server. The ppl behind us got seated and ordered before we got service. I would expect better from Sara's family restaurant.

I had the orange chicken with noodles. The chicken was chicken breast and was very tender not a frozen mix like most restaurants. I requested no peppers and even though they had a mix they were able to remove the peppers. Our main entrees arrived before we finished our salad. My husband had the mac & cheese which was homemade. We will definitely be back when we visit family in the area.

First time customer. Ordered the Denver omelet with pancakes and hashbrown. Great size portions, excellent service and a reasonable price. Large menu you will need some time to look it over but should be able to find something for anyone. The orange juice was great as well, but for the price should have been in a larger glass or offered a refill.

Wonderful little place! The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly, service was prompt and delivered with a smile! I love the variety of dishes that weren't your "standard" breakfasts, (cue the grilled salmon eggs benedict) and how they're all named after prominent U.S. historical figures. The atmosphere was quaint (in a wonderful way) with decor that can't help but make your morning coffee (which was excellently smooth) taste a little more patriotic. Judging by the crowd at 8am on a Tuesday, they know what they're doing here. The parking lot seemed full, so I was a bit hesitant, but I was seated immediately and had a HUGE portioned, steaming breakfast in front of me in about 15 minutes. I definitely plan on coming back a few more times while I'm in town!

Amazing amount of food and prices are great as well. I got the baked pizza casserole which was very good and so much to eat, I ended up taking half of it home. It came with a side salad and garlic bread. It was under $15. The french onion soup was great as well. My wife and I will be going back. You must try this place. I wish I would have taken a picture of the giant bowl of the casserole.

Used to love this place and only had good things to say about it, but the last few times I've gone with my girlfriend our hash browns and fries have been severely undercooked, I'm not a big fan of raw potato. The picture is what we got when we asked for extra crispy hashbrowns.

First time customers. Very pleasant surprise. Inside very homey, wood stove was a nice touch.. The food portions were biggest I can remember and tasted great. Maybe the best part was our server Broderick with his genuine smile and good friendly nature. VERY pleasant meal.

We planned a lunch at Outback Steakhouse only to find it doesn’t open til 4pm. Sara’s Family Restaurant was close by so we decided to try it. SO glad we did. Very clean. Large selection. Breakfast still available so assuming all day. Good prices and Large Portions! Hubby had breakfast haystack of hash browns biscuits and gravy and topped with 2 eggs. He said better than Bob Evans! He was full but couldn’t stop eating! I got the chicken stir fry and it was amazing. Came with a salad for $9.99. Enuf for 2meals. Very good raspberry which was a bonus! We will definitely go back when we are in Ft Wayne again!

Absolutely amazing food! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! Service was friendly and I loved the atmosphere! The food, oh my goodness, EVERYTHING my fiance and I got was delicious!!!! A place you Must go if you haven't!

Arrived at a busy time around 9:00 on a Sunday. Was greated and informed of the 5-10 min wait, then seated in under 5 min. The service was a little slow, however compared to other restaurants during this trying time, the service was better than I have had in a while. My meal arrived warm and delicious. This is a 20 min 16 mile drive for me, and pass other restaurants that others claim as a great place to eat. I will continue to drive past those places to eat breakfast at Saras.
