We were here yesterday for breakfast, had never been there before, and if we are in the area again, we will be back!! I'm picky about my eggs, I like them over medium, these were perfect!! The American Fries, I asked from crispy, again perfect!! Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out pretty quick. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.
Honestly it is what I had expected from a hometown diner/mom and pop shop. I had ordered the Frisco with a side of fries. The frisco was okay albeit with a rather bland sauce, fries were either undercooked or had set out for too long and were cold. The customer service was next to nonexistent, and it felt as though I was unwelcome as the servers were continually having conversation with people whom I assume were regulars while giving side-eye glances my direction. Could be they were tired, could be the fact I am a new face. Either way, mediocre meal and poor customer service unless you are a local or a regular. I was going to go ahead and try one of their pies to see if it would redeem the place, but with it seeming as though I did not exist, I promptly paid and left. I'll opt for another restaurant next time.

My only poorly rated restaurant. They brought chili to me that was cold, ABSOLUTELY no heat, not even slightly warm...the cheese on top was not melted a tad! That was a first in my life at a restaurant along with another first...Tang...powdered orange juice!!! Unbelievable!!! The only thing they got right was 3 sunny side up eggs. The waiter did not offer anything off my bill and either did the cashier when I told her. How is the place in business???

You pay to eat your food then you have to pay to take it home. One week I ate there got to take home food no cost few weeks later pay to take food you already purchased home. Never will recommend them not eat there again. Cost of eating out is high enough without paying for it twice
I ordered sampler plate and it was good. Gumball machine almost made me nostalgic. This is old good place, but maybe having one more staff.

We were very impressed with this restaurant right on the Courthouse Square in Columbia City, IN. We ordered the prime rib sandwich with coleslaw and the fish sandwich with coleslaw. Both sandwiches were scrumptious and the coleslaw was topnotched!
