Powers is great and a Fort Wayne staple! The sliders are super fresh. Greasy and Delicious. Definitely go for the onions, it makes all the difference. Small place and limited seating so consider grabbing and going. They usually have a dessert or too as well. But be patient usually the worker get really busy and a bit frustrated and you can absolutely tell.
Powers will always be my #1 favorite restaurant in all of Fort Wayne! The atmosphere is homey and amazingly authentic, and the establishment as a whole really feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the more modern designs of bigger restaurants. The food served here is very budget friendly and is, I feel, truly unique despite the menu being rather lackluster.I highly recommend that anyone looking to try out a new restaurant, or even just passing through downtown with around 10 minutes to spare, come visit Powers!
Best onions and burgers I've had in years. Hubby enjoyed a good old fashioned chili dog and he's ready to go back. Especially for the lemon cake. An experience everybody should try. This is an old fashioned burger joint like we had in the 50's and 60's where you go in and meet everyone in the whole place and enjoy each other and the conversation and laughter. The service was great and food took us back to our youth. Thanks gals for a great time.
Planned to try it even before it made national news, burgers were not good, chili dog was average as was the chili. The main lady behind the counter had a truck drivers mouth. So you know the language that poured out of it. The locals wouldn't give up their stools even though they were just talking, not eating, making a limited space even more crowded with about ten stools and 1 booth. Said I wanted to try it, I have heard about it since I was 16. I'm now 62. Never again ?

Never open like they used to be. Staff unfriendly. Service has really went downhill. Buns were changed along with the flavor. NEVER change anything when it's not broken.
We stopped by here to try because everybody told us we needed to try it. Being somebody who lives in Indianapolis everything reminds you of white castle. Building and food. I was told you can't say that name in there. It was good but the onions were big and not what I was used too. You should stop here.
(3.5) Very good but I'm not a excited about the smell that sticks on you after you leave. If you love a burger smothered with onions this is your place. Fort Wayne famous- must try!
This place has always been a family favorite and a Fort Wayne icon. Our kids love to go and order multiple burgers fixed multiple ways. We just keep coming back!
