Oleys is famous pizza around here and I can be honest and say I've never had it. Left work and ordered an extra large cheese pizza for carry out, single crust as they say here. Man on the phone was friendly, upbeat and seemed happy to help. He told me the pizza would be done at 5:45 and it was done at exactly that time. Not much to the inside of the restaurant itself, very megar and simple, but adequate at the same time.On to the pizza. Upon opening the box it looked like a good pizza. Well coated in cheese, toasted well and cut in attractive triangles. First bite...this is what pizza is supposed to taste like. Hearty melted mozzarella cheese thats toasted, well applied flavorful pizza sauce (on the milder side, no zing or punch,.just good overall flavor), and a light and crunchy crust to fit the bill. Good pizza. 8.8/10
Absolutely delicious every time.
I used to like the pizza here, but I didn't care for the way it was served 03/31.While the cheese was melted, the pizza (deep dish) was not served hot. Makes me wonder if it was safe to eat. While the "server" checked on our meal, the only response was "sorry". An offer of a replacement would have gone a long way. I guess I'll save the 20 min.drive and go elsewhere.
carry out med double crust & sausage roll. both were under cooked. wife and i were borderline sick for a day. very sad at this because they were doing so well for years.
Idk I came twice now since moving here. The first time I ordered the mushroom appetizer ? It was legit ice cold mushrooms with melted cheese in top of them. I can't explain it. It was so bizarre never seen anything like it. Then I recently came to dine in. The service was really poor,a napkin a plate a straw a clean table was a hopeful expectation, considering we did go to a restaurant to eat, pizza shop or not. The server hates her job, and it showed. However the pizza was delicious I do recommend eating here. Delivery may be a better choice.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE deep dish, double crust pizza!! Perfectly baked. Loaded with toppings. We placed a carry out order. The young man on the phone was friendly and helpful. When we went to pick it up, more of the same friendly service. You cannot beat this pizza!! It is truly 5 stars!!
First time here- it was great!! The young lady who served us was wonderful. The pizza was over the top! The “scan to pay” option on the receipt was a fast, efficient tool.
What a great time my My wife and I had with one of our best friends in the whole world at Oley’s Pizza on Coliseum Blvd in Fort Wayne, IN. Great pizza. If you haven’t had it, ya gotta try it!
So as a huge fan of Lexy's pizza here in Fort Wayne, I figured I would give Oley's a try because a few people have told me it is better than Lexy's, they lied! The pizza tasted good & I really enjoyed it but we ordered it cooked longer than usual, even with that it was still soggy & flimsy. The breadsticks are a joke, just go buy a loaf of white bread, it taste the same. Breadsticks had no flavor, no garlic butter, no cheese, nothing. What a disappointment for $8 for only 4 breadsticks. However the liquid cheese they have for the breadsticks is really good and has a little kick to it.
Just as good as I remembered!Can't get Oley's in Cincinnati.
