We sat outside with our dog, and we brought our own water jug and dog bowl. We accidentally forgot the water jug and called as soon as we got home. We were told that they had it and that they would put it at the front for us in the box. We went back a day later and it was no where to be found. The hostess told us that someone must have taken it. Extremely unprofessional.Also, the quality of food has gone down substantially while they have increased their prices. We used to go to Mitchell’s almost once a week, but we have been disappointed the past two times with the quality of food. We won’t be back.
There’s a lot to do, drink and eat there. Went specifically for a particular band (Brother) and has never been. They have a nice outdoor area, inside is large and they have axe throwing!My drink wasn’t right but she was quick to fix it. Service was good. Didn’t order food.
The sign said to seat our selves. My family was all there so we put two tables together. It was almost five pm . While waiting for a waitress, a guy comes over and says these tables are reserved. Are you going to leave by 7.We says yes. At that point I was thinking about leaving then.Our waitress comes over with menus, very nice lady. Another lady comes over and puts reserved signs on our tables..The waitress was very good the food not so much and management very rude.We decided we don't care to ever go back. Was expensive and not very good
Normally, they're great & the fish is awesome. However, this time on All-you-can-eat Fish and chips Friday, service wasn't nothing to talk about and they ran out of fish (of all things) so won't be back anytime soon for any other disappointments.
Love Mitchell's. Great Sports bar and love the bands not to mention the food lol. We travel once or twice a month from Huntington to visit. They also have one of the best servers (Taylor Hughes) I have ever had in 22 years. She is on top of her game and treats her customers with nothing but kindness and goes out of her way to make sure the customer is happy. We always request her and look forward to her service. Give this girl a raise cause it's waitresses like her is the reason we keep coming back time and time again. Thank you Mitchell's for a spectacular Sports bar and being number 1 in the sports bar business.
Went to Mitchell's a few weeks ago for the first time. Came from Ohio. Went with some friends. Had an absolute blast, it was packed, shoulder to shoulder, there was an 80's band there that night that was fantastic. The drinks were good, the place is nice on the inside and the service was top notch. Super fun place. I can't wait to go back again..!
Wildly popular place. Too much so for my personal taste. New gaming areas with pool, axe throwing, darts, etc., really brought in the crowd Saturday night, along with a good 80's cover band. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table that we reserved. Then there was such a high demand for food orders that we had to wait another half hour for the kitchen to catch up so we could even place an order. Basically, if you didn't reserve a table, it was standing room only. And it only got worse and more crowded as the evening progressed. If you needed to use the restroom, you had to be prepared to wait in line. When we left around 10:30 or so, the parking lot was full and a traffic jam ensued due to the amount of people still trying to find a place to park. People were parking in the grass along the street. Good thing the ground was frozen solid under the snow. Hopefully things will settle down a bit as the newness of the gaming areas wears off. Until then, I have no desire to go back. But if you enjoy being shoulder to shoulder in a loud overcrowded bar full of 20- and 30-somethings, then you'll love it. The food is really good. The drinks ok. We had a spectacular waitress. And the band was good.
Not impressed with the way it's managed. We were there at 5, and they had no tables because they had them all reserved for 730 for the band. That's 2 1/2 hours, for money making, that they lost for ppl wanting to eat dinner. Then knocking boots saloon, has only 10 high top chairs, and the owner has 4 reserved for him and his friends. No tables to set a drink down even f you wanted to dance, and you would have to stand all night, holding your drink, purse, coat. Its extremely to small for a country bar. Very poor place, won't waste time there again.
Very crowded. Very loud. It's a bar. Lol Had a good time. Heard of ladies getting their drinks spiked so I never left my drink unattended. It was nice that you could go to both bars with one admission price. The mechanical bull was fun to watch and enjoyed playing the skeeball games. The rum buckets are delicious, just wish they had a lid. Parking is terrible! Be prepared to walk and be on the hunt for a spot. Ut hey go quick! I had to park behind the building. A little scary if you are by yourself at night
