Well, the most important thing was, the guy handing the money with his gloves on then went over handling the pizza dough with the same gloves. This was very gross. He never changed his gloves the whole time we were there. He was also making subs with his dirty gloves. We won't be back!!
Ordered carry out from this location for my lunch break. Some co workers and I went in one some various pizzas, the cheese thin being mine alone. They told us 40 minutes and the pizza was done on time.The pizza: Still my favorite pizza in Fort Wayne. The sauce, the cheese, the crust, all melds so perfectly, nothing is out of place. The taste and light crunch that you get is above any other pizza place. Score of 9.8/10.

The food is awesome and it’s locally owned,Rating a restaurant a 1 star without any background or knowledge of a last minute drive by doesn’t warrant a health inspection review. You should try the pizza!Maybe the guy spilt food all over himself at closing? Either way it looked like they were closed.Keep on Rocking the great food after all these years Lexys.Another great pie tonight!
I have never personally ate here. BUT drive thur the parking lot I see a man shirtless walking around the kitchen shirtless! Im sure there has to be some kind of heath code violation to be doing that!
Wasn’t really impressed called in order was told it would be ready in about 45-50 minutes, drive there at the 45 minute mark figured I might have to wait a bit, talked to gentleman that asked for my name he searched all the ovens looked at what the people were making came back and said 10 minutes no smile no nothing! Waited for 20 minutes still not a big deal but when my pizza was finally ready a half hour after I got there the same guy called my name no sorry about your wait, nothing really felt like he could care less that I was a paying customer.very poor hospitality So I told my husband I hope this is good pizza for what I paid for it and I can say I wasn’t that impressed either the pizza was burnt and the taco pizza had a dusting of something dark on the crust that left a bad after taste! I won’t be coming back!
We heard good things about Lexy's and decided to give it a try. We called it in and went to pick up our order. When we were at the restaurant we noticed multiple employees didn't change gloves between interactions. One employee in particular wore the same pair of gloves to ring up multiple customers, answer the phone, got a drink from the pop fountain, wiped down the counter, fixed her hair, and then dove her hands into the buckets of toppings. We were put off after seeing this but didn't make it an issue and decided to give the food a try anyway since we had heard such good things about it. The pizza was just ok and we have had better from multiple other places around Fort Wayne. I do hope management does something about the lack of proper hygiene practices around food preparation. One gentleman even tried to shake a customers hand while wearing the same gloves he was preparing food with. I am not looking for a refund, credit, or apologize as we will not be returning. I'm simply asking for management to please look into the poor hygiene practices. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly.
Lexy's is one of my absolute favorite pizza places. Great staff and amazing food for a low price.
