I want to give this small, neighborhood bar that serves food and bad rating...to keep people away (protect it just for us). But I just can't do it! Incredible food fir a bar. Not expensive either. Fantastic sausage roll (many variations). Good pizza. Wonderful tenderloins. Tasty subs and grinders. The breaded shrimp and fish are great. We've not had a bad meal there. Don't expect fanxy...it's not. There is a family room, so take the kids. Numerous TV's set to sports broadcasts. We enjoy visiting Laycoff's.

Excellent bar! Good atmosphere and a very large menu that made it real tough to decide between several things. Went with the Mexican Roll and it was great.
Great food and value for your dollar. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Perch is great, wings and grinder's are spot on. The atmosphere is very enjoyable, your neighborhood bar, lot's of charm, one of our regular stops when going to Ft Wayne.
Whenever I go here, I know I can expect great food and great service. Their pepperoni rolls are especially enjoyable. Never really had a problem other than the family dining room being a little chilly at times. It's become one of my favorite places to eat!
Finding a classic Tavern is almost as hard to find as locating a classic diner. There are not to many of them left around anymore. Laycoff's Tavern has a long history of serving up good tavern food, great service, and cold beer. Just a very nice old place.
