When we walked in I had a clean but empty to go cup and work out asking if there was anything in it I was told I could not bring it in. Normally we come to this restaurant all the time after labs at the VA. Will now find a different place the receptionist was rude moved the menu and condiments to the far side of the table out of my reach and walked away. If you want polite, friendly and good service this is not the place to come for breakfast apparently

Always great food and service !

Waiter was great. Philadelphia steak was very greasy. They said they changed the meat about a year ago...someone else may like it. Spent too much for quality.

Ordered 1 buster platter with cottage fries and 2 buster sandwiches along with a pint of tarter and 1/2 pint of pickles. Drove home to find a pint of POPPYSEED DRESSING instead of tarter. Cashier keyed it right, all I asked for after the manager requested we bring it ALL back, was fresh HOT FOOD, and the pickles and TARTER I ordered. Manager told us "we can only trade the tarter not replace your food" now I'm not sure why they corrected the person in front of me, yet I was supposed to take home COLD SANDWICHES AND COLD FRIES, when I did my part and ordered it correctly, paid for it legally and made TWO trips to get the food. I only asked for what I paid for and just wanted it to be HOT food when I got sat down to eat it. After 50 years of eating Halls, I guess my love of Halls Prime Rib is over. Sad to see that someone not scamming for a free meal gets screwed.

There's nothing better than Hall's when it comes to a good meal! We had the delicate coated fried chicken that melt in your mouth, creamy whipped potatoes and gravy, seasoned green beans and their signature salad loaded up with their famous Roquefort dressing and crispy garlic bread! What a meal! It was fantastic!

Very friendly service, our waitress knew the menu, quick service, surprizingly spacious dining room deceptive from the outside looks tiny. Lots to choose from I had the battered cod plate with two sides- fruit cup and cole slaw, very tasty, small portion on fish but reasonably priced $10. Reubens sandwich was a heaping open faced sandwich on rye with french fries and sauce friend said it was delicious, table had a variety of breads in the basket. Two others at the table - no complaints about their food. We were boisterous at times, enjoyed a corner booth.

I ordered out and the food was ready right when they said it would be. I had the Uncle Sam burger, which was nice and messy. The parking can be tight, especially since traffic is only supposed to run one way through the lot. Plus, they were having their propane delivered right when I visited, so there was a big box truck blocking the exit to the parking lot. He had left by the time I came out though. Just something to be aware of.

Top notch menu selection. Filet Mignon, baked potato and roasted veggies. Doesn't get any better than this. Mon supper with an excellent waitress. The Hall's Prime Rib on State St never fails.Keep up the great work.

This was our first time at this particular Don Hall’s. We didn’t enjoy this one as much we do the other restaurants. The food seemed basic, bland, and nothing special. Some of the dishes weren’t cooked enough and needed to be sent back. The service was friendly though.

Always a great place for a burger. Pictured is Chigago burger, cottage fries, with house special sauce. It's amazing- won't disappoint!
