You can never eat too many chili dogs, and this place is in the running for being the first place tonight chili on a dog. This place has been doing it since 1914 and they are still amazing. You come in through the kitchen and catch the smells...then sit at a 90 year old table and order the best food you've ever had. Then you, like me (I'm from 100 miles away) order a couple of dozen to go so you can share this amazement with your friends.Little known fact...the President of Ohio Art (Etch-A-Sketch) used to send his company plane over for coney dogs. There a reason for that...and a reason I drive 120 miles for them.Enjoy some history...it's as good as you can get...
Fantastic place to get hot dogs with the coney sauce and slivered onions. I had to visit the place twice during my visit to Fort Wayne because I couldn't get enough!
This is an over 100 year old old fashioned diner. Count seating and booths. Very nostalgic. Tony bathroom! Basically serves hot dogs with chili on it which they call sauce. They have burgers, chili, beans and chips. You can get authentic small glass bottle of Coca cola. Tasty, good price. $1.75 per dog. Lots of workers working fast and furious and are friendly! Offer souvenirs also. Try it, nostalgia at its best

Everyone already knows that this place is an icon in Ft Wayne. The food is constantly amazing at a good price in an amazing atmosphere. Due to the restaurant being so busy, you can no longer enter from the back door; however, you can still leave through that exit. There will probably be a short wait to be seated, especially during prime times. They are still taking carryout orders.
