A bunch of kids working! The store was nasty. 3 employees working only one truly working.
It is 6:30 pm I pulled up to the door and sent my son in for his dinner.the business hours say open till 9:00pm. The door was locked and the open sign was off but nothing saying closed early. Then I seen a girl in the lobby and then 2 kids go out the back door. Open or not open?
I understand if a place us busy you will wait a bit longer for food, however this was not busy and it was almost 45 minutes to get 3 sandwiches.The two employees making the sandwiches were quite unsanitary in their handling of the food as well. When they were making the food, the girl (longer red hair) had to go to the cooler, she never removed her gloves, she then had opened cupboards and handled items with the same gloves and continued to make people's food with the same gloves even though they were coated in foodstuffs. When we got our sandwiches the outer boxes looked as if they had been handled by a kindergarten child after finger painting time. The soup containers had more of the lukewarm/tepid soup on the outside of the containers than the inside. Never once did I see them wipe down their prep area or wash their hands or change gloves.The person whom I assume was the manager on duty seemed to have a defeated attitude and didn't even interact with the employees and appeared to care about as little as they did with the quality of the product they were putting out.The counters and tables needed to be wiped down in order to just sit to eat. I'd like to say that this was only as they prepared the 3 sandwiches I ordered but it was the entire time we were there with every single sandwich. This is one of the few low rating and reviews I have felt the need to give but it was just that bad.
Stay as far as you possibly can took 55min to get our order and thats after calling it ahead workers had no hair nets one guy had a string for a belt pants were falling down ask for a refund they wouldn't give me.place needs new management.
Majorly gone downhill. Over 8.00 for a small sandwich that was SUPPOSED to have 3 meats on it including bacon. No bacon. No mustard. A couple slivers of union. It was mostly mushy lettuce, mayo and bread. This location used to be great, but the fella that took my order did not listen to the customer more than once, acted like he couldn't care less to be taking my order or make it. There were 4 people behind the counter, all bland and bored personality, borderline frustration...as 2 of them kept complaining about their day and all they had to do. None of them seemed very happy to be behind that counter tonight. About 4 customers including myself stood around for 15+ minutes but everyone else in the store had already been sitting down and eating. One of the employees snook off to the table by the window to take a couple bites of his food while we were waiting on ours. No friendliness. No care. No more visits by me I'm afraid. I almost didn't go there this evening, but I hadn't been in years, so I decided to go and was really looking forward to it. Should have looked at recent reviews first. Hopefully issues begin to get resolved around there. For now, don't bother.
We went today an had a bad experience!! Very rude crew no welcome to firehouse definitely no smiling faces! Along with not telling customers prior to paying for a combo that the ice didn't work an they had like 3 drink selections to choose from we waited FOREVER for our food along with many other upset customers the poor guy beside us got his sandwich an they "forgot" his meat... you couldn't get napkins bc who ever put them in didn't put them in correctly. After finally getting our food my sandwich was COVERED in the dressing to the pint my hands were covered an my bread was soggy needless to say we pitched the food definitely $40 wasted!!
Good food, just extremely understaffed. Put an order in on line, was told it would be ready at 1:20. It's currently 2 pm and I'm still waiting. I've only seen one sandwich go out in the mean time. Only one employee seems to be being productive, he's amazing but no one else seemed to be helping him keep things moving. I hope he's being appreciated by his higher ups because I don't think they'd have any buisness if it weren't for him doing pretty much everything.
Stopped in for take out lunch. Several sandwich options to choose from. I was looking for a hot sub, so this hit the spot today.
Girl that took my ordered was not friendly and acted as she didn't care about taking my order. I couldn't hardly hear her when she talked. My first and last time I will stop there. Food was fair.
always a great experience at firehouse subs, especially since it’s going towards a great cause.
